بتمويل من الوزارة الاتحادية الألمانية للتعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية (BMZ) وبالشراكة مع منظمة (ASB)، قامت جمعية دجلة الزراعية بعقد اجتماع انطلاق فعاليات هذا العام ضمن مشروع "تعزيز فرص العمل والمشاركة الاقتصادية من خلال التواصل وبناء القدرات"، حيث تضمن الاجتماع لقاءً مع مستفيدي المرحلة الأولى داخل مدينة الموصل، وتقديم شرح مفصل حول أهداف المشروع وآليات تنفيذه، إضافةً إلى تنسيق مهام التدريب العملي بين أصحاب الأعمال والمتمهنين.

ويأتي هذا النشاط ضمن جهود الجمعية الهادفة إلى دعم الشباب وتنمية مهاراتهم المهنية، بما يسهم في تعزيز فرص العمل وتحسين سبل العيش داخل المجتمع المحلي.

Funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and in partnership with ASB, Dijla Agricultural Association (DAA) held a kick-off meeting to launch this year’s activities for the project “Enhancing Employment Opportunities and Economic Participation through Networking and Capacity Building.”

The meeting featured an introductory session with first-phase beneficiaries in Mosul, providing a detailed overview of the project’s objectives and implementation methods. It also facilitated coordination of practical training between business owners and trainees.

This activity comes as part of the association’s ongoing efforts to support youth and develop their professional skills, contributing to increased employment opportunities and improved livelihoods within the local community.

بتمويل من منظمة GOAL وبالشراكة مع منظمة AFH، قامت جمعية دجلة الزراعية بتنظيم معرض للمنتجات الزراعية ضمن المشروع المنفذ في محافظة الأنبار – قضاء راوة.

تضمّن المعرض عرضًا للمحاصيل الزراعية التي تم إنتاجها من خلال المنح المقدمة لـ 50 مزارعًا، بالإضافة إلى مخرجات تدريب 100 مزارع على التقنيات الزراعية الحديثة.

ويهدف هذا المعرض إلى تعزيز التعاقدات والعلاقات التجارية الزراعية بين المزارعين والتجار، بما يسهم في رفع مستوى دخل المزارعين وتعزيز الأمن الغذائي في المنطقة.

Funded by GOAL and in partnership with AFH, Dijla Agricultural Association organized an agricultural products exhibition as part of the project implemented in Anbar Governorate – Rawah District.

The exhibition featured crops produced through grants provided to 50 farmers, as well as the outcomes of training delivered to 100 farmers on modern agricultural techniques.

The exhibition aims to promote agricultural trade linkages and contracts between farmers and traders, with the goal of increasing farmers’ income levels and strengthening food security in the region.

في إطار شراكة برنامج "آفاق" (PROSPECTS) وبدعم من حكومة هولندا، تُسرّ منظمة العمل الدولية، بالشراكة مع مؤسسة روانگە وجمعية دجلة الزراعية وبالتعاون مع مديرية العمل والشؤون الاجتماعية في الموصل أن تعلن عن إطلاق مبادرة جديدة تهدف إلى تعزيز فرص تنمية مهارات الشباب في الموصل.

يقدّم البرنامج تدريبًا مهنيًا عمليًا لمدة 45 يومًا، صُمّم لتزويد المشاركين بمهارات عملية وملائمة لسوق العمل، تستجيب لاحتياجاته الحالية.

As part of the PROSPECTS Programme, supported by the Government of the Netherlands, the International Labour Organization (ILO), in partnership with Rwanga Foundation and Dijla Agricultural Association (DAA), and in cooperation with the Directorate of Labour and Social Affairs in Mosul, is launching a new initiative to support youth skills development in Nineveh.

بتمويل من الوزارة الاتحادية الألمانية للتعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية BMZ وبالشراكة مع منظمة ASB، قامت جمعية دجلة الزراعية بزيارة معهد الطفولة السعيدة لتأهيل ذوي الإعاقة في الموصل للتعريف بمشروع "تعزيز فرص العمل والمشاركة الاقتصادية من خلال التواصل وبناء القدرات".

تم عقد اجتماع مثمر مع مديرة المعهد، حيث تمت مناقشة أهداف المشروع ومخرجاته المتوقعة ومجالات تدخله والفئات المستهدفة، مع التركيز بشكل كبير على تعزيز سبل العيش وتقوية التماسك الاجتماعي داخل المجتمع.

كما سلط النقاش الضوء على أهمية دعم الشباب من ذوي الإعاقات الجسدية القادرين على العمل، واستكشاف الفرص العملية لتعزيز مشاركتهم الاقتصادية. وشاركت مديرة المركز معلومات قيّمة حول دور المركز، والفئات العمرية للمستفيدين، وإمكانيات الدعم المتاحة.

يمثل هذا الاجتماع خطوة مهمة نحو خلق فرص شاملة وتمكين جميع أفراد المجتمع.

With funding from BMZ and in partnership with ASB, DAA visited the Happy Childhood Institute for Disability Rehabilitation in Mosul to introduce its project, “Promoting Employment and Economic Participation through Networking and Capacity Building.”

A productive meeting was held with the Director of the institute, where we discussed the project’s objectives, expected outcomes, areas of intervention, and target groups, with a strong focus on enhancing livelihoods and strengthening social cohesion within the community.

The discussion also highlighted the importance of supporting young people with physical disabilities who are able to work, exploring practical opportunities to enhance their economic participation. The Director shared valuable insights about the center’s role, the age groups of beneficiaries, and the available support services.

This meeting marks a significant step toward creating inclusive opportunities and empowering all members of the community.

As part of our ongoing efforts to support livelihoods and enhance economic stability, we are pleased to share key results observed during the follow-up of beneficiaries in Al-Anbar Governorate – Rawah District.

Field monitoring of the project, implemented by Dijla Agricultural Association (DAA) in partnership with AFH and support from GOAL, has shown encouraging and positive indicators, including:

• A noticeable improvement in beneficiaries’ income levels, enhancing their ability to meet basic needs
• Clear development in practical experience and acquired skills, strengthening opportunities for sustainability and growth
• Increased confidence among beneficiaries in managing their businesses and making economic decisions

These results highlight the importance of collaborative efforts and well-designed programs that focus on capacity building and achieving sustainable impact in local communities.

Together, we continue toward greater empowerment and a more stable future.

استكمالًا لأنشطة بناء قدرات المزارعين ضمن المشروع المنفذ في محافظة الأنبار / قضاء راوة، بتمويل من منظمة GOAL وبالشراكة مع منظمة AFH تم تنفيذ تدريبات عملية ومشاهدات حقلية لعدد من المستفيدين.

شملت الأنشطة دورة تدريبية عملية حول زراعة الخضراوات في الأنفاق البلاستيكية ودورة تدريبية عملية حول زراعة المحاصيل الحقلية المروية بالرش.

يهدف هذا المشروع الى تحسين الممارسات الزراعية، وضمان خدمة مثلى للمحاصيل، والوصول إلى أفضل النتائج الإنتاجية، بما يسهم في تعزيز سبل العيش وتحقيق الاستدامة للمزارعين.

As part of the ongoing farmer capacity-building project in Rawah District, Anbar Governorate, funded by GOAL Organization and in partnership with AFH Organization, beneficiaries participated in practical training sessions and field observations.

Participants received hands-on training in vegetable cultivation using plastic tunnels and in producing field crops with sprinkler irrigation.

The project aims to improve agricultural practices and crop management to achieve optimal production outcomes. These efforts support better livelihoods and long-term sustainability for farmers.

Dijla Agricultural Association conducted a study and assessment of the labor market and skilled workers in both the right and left sides of Mosul.

The study aimed to understand the local market context, identify the opportunities and challenges faced by skilled workers, and analyze their needs in order to support the development of their economic activities and improve their livelihoods.

This step comes as part of Dijla Agricultural Association’s efforts to promote economic empowerment and strengthen the participation of skilled workers in the local market, contributing to the creation of sustainable employment opportunities and improved income for individuals and families in Mosul.

Funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and in partnership with ASB organization, within the project “Enhancing Employment Opportunities and Economic Participation through Networking and Capacity Building in Nineveh Governorate – Iraq”, Dijla Agricultural Association conducted a training for social cohesion staff. The training included a detailed explanation of the project objectives, implementation mechanisms, and targeted areas, aiming to prepare field teams for data collection and related activities.
