نسأل الله أن يعيد هذه المناسبة عليكم وعلى عائلاتكم بالصحة والسعادة، وأن يكون عيداً يملأ قلوب الأطفال بالفرح وبيوت النساء بالأمان، وأن يعمّ فيه السلم والطمأنينة على الجميع.

#بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للمرأة الذي يُصادف في الثامن من آذار من كل عام، تحتفي منظمة نوتردام للمرأة والطفل بالدور العظيم الذي تؤديه المرأة في بناء المجتمع وتعزيز قيم السلام والتماسك الاجتماعي.

إن هذا اليوم يمثل فرصة للتأكيد على أهمية تمكين النساء والفتيات، ودعم حقوقهن، وتعزيز مشاركتهن الفاعلة في مختلف مجالات الحياة. فالمرأة كانت وما زالت شريكاً أساسياً في صنع التغيير الإيجابي وبناء مستقبل أكثر استقراراً وعدلاً.

نجدد في هذه المناسبة التزامنا بالعمل من أجل حماية المرأة وتعزيز دورها في المجتمع، ونؤكد أن تمكين النساء هو الطريق نحو مجتمعات أكثر سلاماً وعدالة.

كل عام والمرأة قوية، مؤثرة، وصانعة للأمل.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, celebrated on March 8 each year, Notre Dame Organization for Women and Child proudly recognizes the vital role women play in building communities and promoting peace and social cohesion.

This day is an important opportunity to highlight the need to empower women and girls, support their rights, and strengthen their active participation in all aspects of life. Women continue to be key partners in creating positive change and shaping a more stable and just future.

On this occasion, we reaffirm our commitment to protecting women’s rights and strengthening their role in society, believing that empowering women leads to more peaceful and equitable communities.

في اليوم العالمي لمناهضة العنف ضد المرأة، نجتمع اليوم تحت شعار "اليوم البرتقالي" لنقول معاً إن هذا اليوم ليس مجرد لون… بل هو رسالة، موقف، وصوت واحد يطالب بإنهاء جميع أشكال العنف ضد النساء والفتيات.

البرتقالي هو لون الأمل، لون المستقبل الذي نحلم به خالياً من الخوف، مليئاً بالأمان والكرامة.
اليوم نلوّن العالم بالبرتقالي لنعطي لكل امرأة مساحة لتُسمَع، ولنجدد التزامنا بحمايتها وتمكينها وبناء مجتمع يعزز حقوقها ويصونها.

معاً… لنحو عالم خالٍ من العنف.
معاً… لنجعل البرتقالي أسلوب حياة وليس مجرد مناسبة.

✨ "كلنا لأجل السلام" ⚽🌿

ضمن أجواء مليئة بالفرح وروح الفريق، تم تنظيم مجموعة من مباريات كرة القدم لطلاب المدارس الابتدائية بهدف تعزيز السلام والتعاون بين الطلبة، وخلق مساحة آمنة تجمع الأطفال على اللعب المشترك والتواصل الإيجابي.

هذه المباريات لم تكن مجرد منافسة رياضية، بل كانت مساحة يلتقي فيها طلاب من خلفيات دينية ومجتمعية مختلفة، يتعرفون على بعضهم، يتشاركون اللعب، ويتعلمون معنى الفريق الواحد… مما يرسّخ قيم الاحترام، التعايش، والتماسك الاجتماعي بين أطفالنا داخل المدارس والمجتمع.

وجاء تنفيذ هذه الفعالية تحت شعار "كلنا لأجل السلام" بإشراف
منظمة نوتردام و مؤسسة بنان وبدعم منظمة سنرايز، وذلك ضمن إطار مشروع:
"إعادة دمج العائدين من خلال دمج التماسك الاجتماعي مع التنمية الاقتصادية في شمال العراق – قضائي سنجار والبعاج"
الذي تنفذه منظمة سنرايز بالشراكة مع رابطة عمال سامريتر (ASB) الألمانية، وبدعم وتمويل من الوزارة الاتحادية الألمانية للتعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية.

لقد كانت هذه المباريات أكثر من مجرد لعبة؛ كانت درسًا في السلام، ورسالة أمل، وخطوة نحو بناء جيل يؤمن بقيمة التعاون والاحترام، ويسهم في تعزيز التماسك الاجتماعي داخل المجتمع.

✨ “All for Peace” ⚽🌿

In an atmosphere filled with joy and team spirit, a series of football matches was organized for primary school students with the aim of promoting peace, cooperation, and creating a safe space where children can engage in shared play and positive interaction.

These matches were more than just a sporting event—they brought together students from different religious and social backgrounds, giving them the opportunity to meet, play together, and learn the true meaning of teamwork. This experience helped strengthen values of respect, coexistence, and social cohesion within schools and the wider community.

The activity was carried out under the slogan “All for Peace”, supervised by
Notre Dame Organization and Banan Foundation, with support from Sunrise Organization, as part of the project:
“Reintegration of Returnees through Integrating Social Cohesion with Economic Development in Northern Iraq (Sinjar and Ba’aj)”, implemented by Sunrise in partnership with the German Samaritan Workers’ Association (ASB) and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

These matches were more than just a game—they were a lesson in peace, a message of hope, and a step toward building a generation that believes in cooperation, respect, and the importance of strengthening social cohesion within the community.

#نفّذت منظمة نوتردام حملة واسعة للتنظيف والتشجير في مدارس قضاء البعاج ضمن مشروع " #كلّنا من اجل السلام"، وبالشراكة مع منظمة سنرايز و رابطة عمال سامرتير الألمانية، وبتمويل من الوزارة الاتحادية الألمانية للتعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية.

جاءت هذه الحملة لتعزيز الوعي البيئي داخل المؤسسات التعليمية، حيث شارك الطلبة إلى جانب المتطوعين في تنظيف الساحات المدرسية وزراعة الأشجار في محيط المدارس، بهدف خلق بيئة تعليمية صحية وأكثر جمالًا، وتشجيع الجيل الناشئ على حماية البيئة والمشاركة المجتمعية.

وتتقدّم منظمة نوتردام بالشكر لجميع الشركاء والداعمين والطلبة والمتطوعين الذين أسهموا في إنجاح هذه المبادرة الهادفة.

Notre Dame Organization carried out a large-scale cleaning and tree- planting campaign in the schools of Al-Ba’aj District as part of the “All of Us for Peace” project, in partnership with Sunrise Organization and the German Samariter Workers’ Association, and with funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

The campaign aimed to promote environmental awareness within educational institutions, where students joined volunteers in cleaning school yards and planting trees around the schools. This initiative seeks to create ahealthier and more beautiful learn n environment and to encourage young people to take part in environmental protection and community engagement.

Notre Dame Organization extends its appreciation to all partners, supporters, students, and volunteers who contributed to the success of this meaningful initiative.
