"مبادرة صفوف السلام"
نؤمن أن العمل التطوعي هو حجر الأساس في بناء مجتمع متماسك، وأن الاستثمار في التعليم هو استثمار في مستقبل أفضل

نُفيذ فريق شباب نينوى، وبالتعاون مع مديرية تربية نينوى / قسم العمل التطوعي، تم تنفيذ مبادرة صفوف السلام التي استهدفت ثلاث مدارس في مدينة الموصل.
هدفت المبادرة إلى تحسين البيئة التعليمية ودعم الطلبة من خلال إعادة تأهيل أكثر من 100 رحلة مدرسية، بما يسهم في توفير صفوف دراسية أكثر ملاءمة وراحة لأبنائنا الطلبة.

Peace Classrooms Initiative
We believe that volunteer work is the cornerstone of building a cohesive society, and that investing in education is an investment in a better future.
Implemented by the Nineveh Youth Team, in cooperation with the Nineveh Directorate of Education / Volunteer Work Department, the Peace Classrooms Initiative targeted three schools in the city of Mosul.
The initiative aimed to improve the educational environment and support students by rehabilitating more than 100 school desks, contributing to the provision of more suitable and comfortable classrooms for our students.

في إطار مبادرة صوت الشباب، قام مجموعة من الشباب والشابات بزيارة عدد من المناطق التراثية، ومن بينها منارة الحدباء، للتأكيد على أهمية الحفاظ على الإرث الثقافي والتاريخي الذي يمثل هوية المكان وروح الأجيال.

كانت الزيارة فرصة للحوار وتبادل الآراء حول دور الشباب في حماية التراث، ونقل قيمه للأجيال القادمة، والتأكيد على أن الماضي هو أساس نبني به مستقبلنا.

معًا، نرفع صوت الشباب من أجل تراثٍ حيّ لا يُنسى

As part of the Youth Voice Initiative, a group of
young men and women visited a number of heritage sites, including Al-Hadba Minaret, to emphasize the importance of preserving the cultural and historical legacy that represents the identity of the place and the spirit of generations.

The visit was an opportunity for dialogue and the exchange of views on the role of youth in protecting heritage, passing on its values to future generations, and affirming that the past is the foundation upon which we build our future.

Together, we raise the voice of youth for a living heritage that will never be forgotten.

ضمن مبادرة صوت الشباب، تشرفنا بزيارة عوجات المنطقة القديمة في الموصل، حيث كانت لنا وقفة مهمة للحديث عن التراث الموصلي الأصيل، وتاريخ هذه المناطق العريقة، وما تحمله من قصص وهوية متجذرة في ذاكرة المدينة.

كما تناولنا الحديث عن منارة الحدباء، رمز الموصل الخالد، وأهميتها التاريخية والحضارية، ودورها في تشكيل هوية المدينة عبر العصور.

هذه الزيارة جاءت لتؤكد دور الشباب في الحفاظ على التراث، ونقل الوعي بأهميته للأجيال القادمة، لأن الموصل بتاريخها تستحق أن تُروى قصتها بصوت أبنائها.

As part of the Youth Voice Initiative, we conducted a visit to the alleys of the Old City of Mosul, where we held an insightful discussion about Mosuli heritage, the history of these ancient areas, and their deep cultural significance.

We also spoke about Al-Hadba Minaret, the enduring symbol of Mosul, highlighting its historical and cultural importance and its role in shaping the city’s identity throughout the centuries.

This visit reaffirmed the role of young people in preserving heritage and raising awareness of its value for future generations, because Mosul, with its rich history, deserves to have its story told by the voices of its own people.

In the presence of the Community Cohesion Program Coordinator and the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) – Iraq, the “Youth Voice” initiative was launched. The initiative is implemented by the Nineveh Youth for Peace team, with support from UNDP and in partnership with HRF, in the city of Mosul, Nineveh Governorate. It aims to empower youth in the field of volunteer work and to enhance interest in cultural heritage through a two-day training program.

The first day of the Voice of Youth initiative has officially kicked off. The initiative is implemented by the Nineveh Youth for Peace team, with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and in partnership with HRF, in the city of Mosul, Nineveh Governorate. It aims to empower youth in the field of volunteer work and enhance interest in cultural heritage through a two-day training program.

عقد عدد من أعضاء فريق شباب نينوى للسلام اجتماعًا مع بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي و مديرة برامج التماسك المجتمعي في برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي UNDP Iraq في العراق.

تم خلال اللقاء مناقشة دور الشباب في العمل التطوعي وتعزيز التماسك المجتمعي وبناء السلام، إضافةً إلى استعراض أبرز الأنشطة والمبادرات المجتمعية التي نفذها الفريق خلال السنوات الماضية، وتسليط الضوء على التحديات التي يواجهها الشباب في هذا المجال.

يؤكد هذا اللقاء على أهمية تمكين الشباب ليكونوا شركاء فاعلين في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة والسلام المجتمعي في نينوى.

A number of members from the Nineveh Youth for Peace Team held a meeting with the European Union Mission and the Director of Social Cohesion Programs at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Iraq.

During the meeting, they discussed the role of youth in volunteer work, promoting social cohesion, and building peace, in addition to reviewing the most prominent community activities and initiatives implemented by the team over the past years, and highlighting the challenges faced by young people in this field.

This meeting emphasizes the importance of empowering youth to become active partners in achieving sustainable development and community peace in Nineveh.
