'Alqama reported:
While I was walking with 'Abdullah at Mina, 'Uthman happened to meet him. He stopped there and began to talk with him. Uthman said to him: Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, should we not marry you to a young girl who may recall to you some of the past of your bygone days; thereupon he said: If you say so, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: 0 young men, those among you who can support a wife should marry, for it restrains eyes from casting (evil glances). and preserves one from immorality; but those who cannot should devote themselves to fasting for it is a means of controlling sexual desire.

The Prophet (Sallallähu alaihi wa sallam) said: "The woman should not undertake journey except with a Mahram"

A person stood up and said: "Allah's Messenger, my wife has set out for pilgrimage, whereas I am enlisted to fight in such and such battle."

Whereupon he said:" You go and perform Hajj with your wife."

The Prophet (sallallähu alaihi wasallam) said: "This people of mine is one to which mercy is shown. It will have no punishment in the next world, but its punishment in this world will be trials, earthquakes and being killed."

Hadith

'Umar b. al-Khattib reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
Allah, the Great and Majestic, forbids you to swear by your fathers. Umar said: By Allah. I have never sworn (by my father) since I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbidding it mentioning them" on my behalf" nor on behalf of someone else.

The Best Wife

1. Listens to her husband and does her best to please him.

2. Always considers her husband's well being.

3. Doesn't give the husband stress but gives him peace of mind.

4. Doesn't spend more than what her husband earns.

5. Understand the rights of her husband.

6. Helps him at the time of His problems.

7. Has patience when the husband doesn't treat her justly and tries to solve it calmly.

8. Dresses well and look good to please her husband.

9. Practises Islam and teaches her husband and children too.

10. Fulfills all her obligations by providing love and safeguarding his family.

May Allah bless all the brothers in Islam with wives who will love them and care for them.

And May Allah grant our sisters the ability to do so Aamiin.

The Prophet (sallallähu alaihi wasallam) said: "It is not allowable for a Muslim to keep apart from his brother for more than three days, for one who does so and dies will enter Hell."

The Prophet (sallallähu alaihi wasallam) said: "If one keeps apart from his brother for a year, it is like shedding his blood."
