On the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the chemical attack on the city of Halabja, the Green Environment Organization ـ GEO, for the held a formal photo exhibition showcasing the victims of the attack. The event took place on 16 March 2025, in front of the Central Public Library in the city of Kirkuk, as a tribute to the memory of the victims and a call to prevent the use of chemical weapons in the future.

بمناسبة الذكرى السابعة والثلاثين للهجوم الكيميائي على مدينة حلبجة، أقامت منظمة الخضراء البيئة (GEO) معرضًا رسميًا للصور الفوتوغرافية لضحايا الهجوم. أُقيم المعرض في 16 آذار/مارس 2025، أمام المكتبة العامة المركزية في مدينة كركوك، تخليدًا لذكرى الضحايا ودعوةً لمنع استخدام الأسلحة الكيميائية مستقبلًا.

The Green Environment Organization (GEO) participated with an official delegation in both the Fifth Session of the Working Group on Strengthening the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC) and the subsequent Meeting of the States Parties to the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC), held from December 2 to 18, 2024. This is Green Environment Organization ـ GEO, second participation in the BWC meetings, having previously participated in the Fourth Session of the Working Group on Strengthening the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC), held from August 19 to 23, 2024, in Geneva, Switzerland.

شاركت منظمة الخضراء للبيئة بوفد رسمی في كلا اجتماعين، الدورة الخامسة لفريق العمل المعني بتعزيز اتفاقية الأسلحة البيولوجية (BWC) وبعدها اجتماع الدول الأطراف في الاتفاقية اسلحة بايلوجية، الذي انعقده خلال الفترة من 2 إلى 18 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2024.
وتُعد هذه المشاركة هي الثانية للمنظمة الخضراء للبيئة في اجتماعات BWC، بعد أن شاركت سابقًا في اجتماع الدورة الرابعة لفريق العمل المعني بتعزيز اتفاقية الأسلحة البيولوجية ـ BWC، الذي عُقد بين 19 و23 آب/أغسطس 2024 في جنيف، سویسرا.

Sara Nadeem, representing the Green Environment Organization, participated in the 4th cycle of the Mentoring Programme organized by the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO). The programme is designed for early-career women in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
The programme was launched on May 5, 2025, with the participation of 40 women from six different geographical regions around the world.
This participation reflects the organization's commitment to supporting women's representation in international programmes, enhancing their role in scientific fields, and strengthening their contribution to efforts aimed at combating weapons of mass destruction.

شاركت عضوة (سارا نديم)،كممثلة عن منظمة الخضراء للبيئة في الدورة الرابعة من برنامج الإرشاد التابع لمنظمة معاهدة الحظر الشامل للتجارب النووية (CTBTO)، والمخصص للنساء في بداية مسيرتهن المهنية في مجالات العلوم والتكنولوجيا والهندسة والرياضيات (STEM). انطلقت الدورة في 5 أيار/مايو 2025** بمشاركة 40 نساء من ست مناطق جغرافية مختلفة حول العالم. تأتي هذه المشاركة ضمن جهود المنظمة في دعم تمثيل النساء في البرامج الدولية وتعزيز دورهن في المجالات العلمية و دورهم في مكافحة اسلحة الدمار الشامل.

On 29 July 2025 at 23:24 UTC International Monitoring System detected a tsunami-triggering event off the East Coast of Kamchatka [52.59 N, 160.00 E], Russian Federation. The event was detected by 41 primary and 26 auxiliary seismic stations, 9 hydroacoustic and 8 infrasound stations. CTBTO data put into practice: helping to augment tsunami warning capabilities of Member States.
