منظمة وند الخير الإنسانية تفتتح معرض “جسور من ألوان .. نحو السلام والتعايش السلمي” في محافظة ديالى

في إطار جهودها المتواصلة لتعزيز ثقافة السلام والتعايش المجتمعي، نظّمت منظمة وند الخير الإنسانية بدعم من منظمة باكس الهولندية للسلام معرضًا فنيًا بعنوان “جسور من ألوان .. نحو السلام والتعايش السلمي” في محافظة ديالى.

جسّدت اللوحات الفنية المشاركة في المعرض رسائل عميقة تدعو إلى الوحدة والمحبة ونبذ العنف والكراهية والحروب، مؤكدة أن الحوار هو السبيل الأمثل لبناء مجتمعات متماسكة وآمنة. كما تناولت بعض الأعمال موضوعات تشجيع العلم والابتكار، ومواجهة التغيرات المناخية من خلال رؤى فنية معبّرة.

وشهد المعرض حضورًا واسعًا من القيادات الأمنية، والشخصيات المجتمعية، ومديري الدوائر الحكومية، وطلبة المدارس، الذين أثنوا على الجهود المبذولة في ترسيخ ثقافة السلام عبر الفنون.

وشارك في المبادرة عدد من الفنانين والرسامين من مختلف مناطق محافظة ديالى، الذين عبّروا بريشاتهم عن تطلعات المجتمع نحو مستقبل يسوده السلام والتعايش الإنساني المشترك.

وأكد القائمون على المعرض أن هذه المبادرة تأتي ضمن سلسلة من الأنشطة الهادفة إلى تعزيز السلم الأهلي، وتمكين المجتمع المحلي من بناء جسور الثقة والتعاون بين مكوناته المختلفة.

Wand Al-Khair Humanitarian Organization Opens Art Exhibition “Bridges of Colors… Towards Peace and Social Cohesion” in Diyala

Diyala – November 2025

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote a culture of peace and social coexistence, Wand Al-Khair Humanitarian Organization, with the support of PAX Netherlands for Peace, organized an art exhibition titled “Bridges of Colors… Towards Peace and Social Cohesion” in Diyala Governorate.

The showcased artworks conveyed powerful messages of unity, love, and the rejection of violence, hatred, and war, emphasizing that dialogue remains the most effective path toward building cohesive and secure communities. Some paintings also highlighted themes of encouraging education, innovation, and collective action to address climate change through creative artistic expressions.

The event was attended by security officials, community leaders, government department directors, and school students, who commended the initiative for using art as a bridge to strengthen peace and understanding.

A number of artists and painters from across Diyala took part in this initiative, expressing through their art the community’s aspirations for a future founded on peace, coexistence, and shared humanity.

Organizers emphasized that this exhibition is part of a broader series of activities aimed at promoting social peace and empowering local communities to build bridges of trust and cooperation among their diverse components.

منظمة وند الخير الانسانية تقيم مؤتمرا توعوياً لتسجيل الأسلحة النارية

انسجاماً مع الحملة الوطنية لحصر السلاح بيد الدولة، وضمن مبادرات مشروع مسح الأمن الإنساني في محافظة ديالى لعام 2025، نظّمت منظمة وند الخير الإنسانية مؤتمراً توعوياً تنظيمياً بحضور القيادات الأمنية، ومختاري المناطق، وممثلين عن الوقف السني والشيعي، وقادة المجتمع المحلي.

تناول المؤتمر مخاطر حيازة الأسلحة غير المرخصة وأهمية تسجيلها والحصول على هوية حيازة رسمية، كما تم خلال الفعالية تصميم وتوزيع بروشور تعريفي عن قانون حيازة السلاح رقم (51) لسنة 2017 بهدف رفع الوعي القانوني لدى المواطنين وتعزيز الأمن المجتمعي.

نعتز بمساهمتنا في دعم جهود الدولة نحو ترسيخ الأمن والاستقرار وتعزيز مفهوم السلام الإنساني والمجتمعي.

Wand Al-Khair Humanitarian Organization is holding an awareness conference on fi****ms registration.
In line with the National Campaign to Limit Weapons to State Control, and as part of the Human Security Mapping Project in Diyala Governorate – 2025, Wend Al-Khair Humanitarian Organization organized an awareness and organizational conference attended by security leaders, community chiefs, representatives of the Sunni and Shiite endowments, and local community leaders.

The conference addressed the risks of possessing unlicensed weapons and emphasized the importance of registering fi****ms and obtaining official possession IDs.
A brochure explaining the Fi****ms Possession Law No. (51) of 2017 was also designed and distributed to raise legal awareness among citizens and promote community safety.

We take pride in contributing to national efforts to strengthen security and stability, and in promoting the values of human and community peace.

منظمة وند الخير الإنسانية تنفذ ورشة تدريبية لتعزيز دور النساء في الوساطة بالنزاعات الناجمة عن التغيرات المناخية في جلولاء

ديالى – أكتوبر 2025

في إطار جهودها الرامية إلى تعزيز دور المرأة في بناء السلام والتصدي لتأثيرات التغير المناخي، نفّذت منظمة وند الخير الإنسانيةو بدعم من منظمة باكس الهولندية للسلام ورشة تدريبية بعنوان “تعزيز دور النساء في الوساطة في النزاعات الناجمة عن التغيرات المناخية”، وذلك في مدينة جلولاء بمحافظة ديالى.

استمرت الورشة لمدة يومين بمشاركة 25 امرأة من مختلف المكونات المجتمعية، تناولت خلالها جلسات تدريبية مكثفة حول مفاهيم الوساطة، إدارة النزاعات، وأثر التغيرات المناخية على المجتمعات المحلية، فضلاً عن آليات إشراك النساء في جهود التكيف وبناء السلام المستدام.

وتأتي هذه الورشة في مدينة جلولاء التي شهدت في السابق أعمال عنف وصراعات مجتمعية قبل تحريرها من الجماعات المسلحة عام 2017، في خطوة تعكس أهمية تمكين النساء للمساهمة في ترسيخ التعايش السلمي وتعزيز الأمن الإنساني في المناطق المتأثرة بالنزاعات.

وأكد مدير منظمة وند الخير الانسانية السيد عباس السوداني أن هذه الورشة تمثل جزءاً من جهودها المستمرة لدعم مشاركة النساء في عمليات السلام والتنمية المستدامة، وتعزيز قدراتهن على لعب أدوار فاعلة في مواجهة التحديات البيئية والاجتماعية في محافظة ديالى.

Holds a Training Workshop to Strengthen the Role of Women in Mediating Climate-Related Conflicts in Jalawla

Diyala – October 2025

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote women’s role in peacebuilding and addressing the impacts of climate change, Wand Al-Khair Humanitarian Organization, with the support of PAX Netherlands for Peace, organized a two-day training workshop titled “Enhancing the Role of Women in Mediating Conflicts Arising from Climate Change” in the city of Jalawla, Diyala Governorate.

The workshop, which lasted for two days and brought together 25 women from diverse community backgrounds, included intensive training sessions on mediation concepts, conflict management, and the impacts of climate change on local communities. Participants also discussed practical mechanisms for engaging women in adaptation efforts and promoting sustainable peace.

Held in Jalawla, a city that had previously witnessed violence and communal conflicts before its liberation from armed groups in 2017, the workshop represents an important step toward empowering women to contribute to peaceful coexistence and strengthening human security in conflict-affected areas.

Mr. Abbas Al-Sodani, Director of Wand Al-Khair Humanitarian Organization, emphasized that this workshop is part of the organization’s continuous efforts to support women’s participation in peace processes and sustainable development, while enhancing their capacities to play effective roles in addressing environmental and social challenges in Diyala Governorate.

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance human security and sustainable peace in Diyala Governorate, Wand Al-Khair Humanitarian Organization, with the support of PAX Netherlands for Peace, implemented a distinguished initiative under the Human Security Mapping Program for 2025.

The initiative aimed to highlight local leaders who have actively contributed to supporting peacebuilding and social coexistence efforts in the governorate. During the event, symbolic shields titled “Leaders of Peace and Coexistence in Diyala Governorate” were presented in recognition of their contributions to community service and stability promotion.

The honorees included Mr. Hassan Al-Jubouri (Abu Fares), Deputy Governor of Diyala, along with several district and sub-district directors, in appreciation of their remarkable role in promoting a culture of tolerance and strengthening cooperation between government institutions and local communities.

The activity was carried out under the direct supervision of the Director of Wand Al-Khair Humanitarian Organization – Mr. Abbas Al-Sudani, who emphasized that this initiative is part of a broader series of activities aimed at encouraging local leadership to support peace initiatives and protect civilians in the governorate.

This step reflects the commitment of Wand Al-Khair Humanitarian Organization and its international partners to promoting human security in Iraq and supporting local initiatives that contribute to building a cohesive and peaceful society.

في إطار الجهود المستمرة لتعزيز الأمن الإنساني والسلام المستدام في محافظة ديالى، نفّذت منظمة وند الخير الإنسانية، وبدعم من منظمة باكس الهولندية للسلام، مبادرة نوعية ضمن برنامج مسح الأمن الإنساني لعام 2025.

هدفت المبادرة إلى تسليط الضوء على القيادات المحلية التي أسهمت بفاعلية في دعم مبادرات السلام والتعايش السلمي في المحافظة، حيث جرى تقديم دروع رمزية بعنوان “قادة السلام والتعايش السلمي في محافظة ديالى” تكريماً لجهودهم في خدمة المجتمع وتعزيز الاستقرار.

وشملت المبادرة تكريم الأستاذ حسن الجبوري (أبو فارس) نائب محافظ ديالى وعدد من مدراء النواحي والأقضية في محافظة ديالى، تقديراً لدورهم البارز في نشر ثقافة التسامح، وتعزيز التعاون بين مؤسسات الدولة والمجتمع المحلي.

وقد تم تنفيذ النشاط بإشراف مباشر من مدير منظمة وند الخير الإنسانية – السيد عباس السوداني، الذي أكد أن هذه المبادرة تأتي ضمن سلسلة أنشطة تهدف إلى تحفيز القيادات المحلية لدعم جهود السلام وحماية المدنيين في المحافظة.

تجسد هذه الخطوة التزام منظمة وند الخير الإنسانية وشركائها الدوليين بتعزيز الأمن الإنساني في العراق، ودعم المبادرات المحلية الرامية إلى بناء مجتمع متماسك يسوده السلام والتعايش.

نفذت وند الخير الإنسانية في الأيام الماضية اربع جلسات مجتمعية في (المقدادية , الوجيهية . السعدية , بلدروز ) بمشاركة مدراء الوحدات الإدارية و المسؤولين عن الملف الأمني و شخصيات مجتمعية تمثل رجال دين و شيوخ عشائر و اكاديميين و ممثلين عن المؤسسات الحكومية . جاءت هذه الجلسات استكمالا" للمرحلة الأولى لمشروع مسح الامن الإنساني في محافظة ديالى و التي تضمنت انجاز 708 استبانة في جميع انحاء المحافظة عن طريق (15) عداد يمثلون كلا الجنسين , خلال شهر شباط من السنة الحالية .

تهدف الجلسات الى تعزيز الحوار بين السلطات الحكومية و المجتمعات و شرح نتائج الاستبيان و مناقشة مقترحات و أولويات المواطنين في المناطق التي تعرضت لأعمال عنف لغرض دعم استقرارها و ترسيخ جهود السلام و التعايش السلمي بين أطياف المجتمع العراقي .

من خلال الجلسات وضح الاستاذ عباس السوداني / مدير مشروع مسح الامن الانساني في محافظة ديالى ان باكس تعني السلام , و لتحقيق السلام يتطلب العمل مع الأشخاص الذين لديهم الشجاعة للدفاع عن السلام . نحن نعمل مع السطات المحلية و الشخصيات المجتمعية من خلال المناصرة و الضغط لننقل الأصوات من الميدان الى الجهات الأمنية وصانعي السياسات على امل بناء القدرات المحلية على الصمود.

Wand Al-Khair Humanitarian Organization recently held four community sessions in Muqdadiyah, Al-Wajihiyah, Saadiyah, and Baladruz, with the participation of administrative unit directors, security officials, and community figures including religious leaders, tribal sheikhs, academics, and representatives of governmental institutions.

These sessions were conducted as a continuation of the first phase of the Human Security Survey Project in Diyala Governorate, which included the completion of 708 questionnaires across the province by 15 enumerators of both genders during the month of February of this year.

The sessions aimed to enhance dialogue between government authorities and local communities, present the survey results, and discuss citizens’ proposals and priorities in areas affected by violence. The objective is to support stabilization efforts and strengthen peacebuilding and social cohesion among the diverse segments of Iraqi society.

During the sessions, Mr. Abbas Al-Sudani, Director of the Human Security Survey Project in Diyala Governorate, explained that PAX means peace, and achieving peace requires working with those who have the courage to defend it. “We work with local authorities and community leaders through advocacy and lobbying to bring voices from the field to security bodies and policymakers, in the hope of building local resilience.”
