استقبلت منظمة المسلة وفداً من International Rescue Committee (لجنة الإنقاذ الدولية)، في زيارة هدفت إلى التعبير عن التقدير للشراكة المثمرة التي جمعت الطرفين خلال الفترة الماضية.

وخلال الزيارة، قدم الوفد درعاً تقديرياً لمنظمة المسلة، تثميناً لجهودها المتميزة ودورها الفاعل في تنفيذ البرامج والأنشطة التي أسهمت في خدمة المجتمع وتعزيز الاستجابة الإنسانية.

وأكد الجانبان أهمية هذه الشراكة التي شكلت نموذجاً ناجحاً للعمل المشترك، مع الإشادة بما تحقق من إنجازات رغم التحديات، معربين عن أملهم باستمرار التعاون وتطويره مستقبلاً بما يخدم الفئات المستهدفة بشكل أفضل.

وتعكس هذه اللفتة التقديرية حجم الثقة والتقدير المتبادل، وتؤكد على أهمية تكامل الجهود بين المنظمات المحلية والدولية لتحقيق أثر مستدام في المجتمعات.

Al-Mesalla Organization received a delegation from the International Rescue Committee during a visit aimed at expressing appreciation for the fruitful partnership that has brought the two sides together over the past period.

During the visit, the delegation presented a shield of appreciation to Al-Mesalla in recognition of its outstanding efforts and its active role in implementing programs and activities that have contributed to serving the community and strengthening humanitarian response efforts.

Both parties emphasized the importance of this partnership, which has served as a successful model of collaborative work. They also praised the achievements made despite various challenges and expressed their shared commitment to continuing and expanding this cooperation in the future to better serve target communities.

This recognition reflects a high level of mutual trust and appreciation, and underscores the importance of strong collaboration between local and international organizations in achieving sustainable impact within communities.

ضمن مبادرة إنتاج الأسمدة العضوية (الكمبوست)، تم تنفيذ تدريب عملي بمشاركة 30 مزارعاً و10 من موظفي مديرية الزراعة، ركّز على خطوات التصنيع بطريقة مبسطة وقابلة للتطبيق، حيث تعلّم المشاركون كيفية تحويل المخلفات العضوية إلى سماد غني يعزز خصوبة التربة ويقلل التكاليف، في خطوة تدعم الزراعة المستدامة وتحافظ على البيئة.

As part of the organic fertilizer (compost) production initiative, a hands-on training was conducted with the participation of 30 farmers and 10 staff members from the Directorate of Agriculture. The training focused on simplified, practical production methods, enabling participants to learn how to transform organic waste into nutrient-rich compost that enhances soil fertility and reduces costs—contributing to sustainable agriculture and environmental protection.

بمشاركة 30 مزارعاً و10 من موظفي مديرية الزراعة، نُفذت مبادرة لإنتاج الأسمدة العضوية (الكمبوست)، كخطوة عملية نحو زراعة مستدامة وبيئة أنظف.

المبادرة ما كانت مجرد تدريب، بل بداية تغيير حقيقي… من خلال تحويل المخلفات إلى مورد مفيد، وتقليل الاعتماد على الأسمدة الكيميائية، وتمكين المزارعين بأساليب بسيطة وفعّالة.

هذا النشاط ضمن مشروع ارض وأمل الذي تنفذه المسلة بالشراكة مع IRC وبدعم من الإغاثة الإسلامية.

لأن حقوق الإنسان لا تُبنى بالجهود الفردية بل بالشراكات الحقيقية، جاءت هذه الخطوة لتجسد تعاوناً جديداً بين منظمة المسلة لتنمية الموارد البشرية ومكتب المفوضية العليا لحقوق الإنسان في نينوى.

حيث جرت مراسم التوقيع يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 31 آذار 2026، بحضور السيد ياسر ضياء سعيد، مدير مكتب المفوضية في نينوى، إلى جانب عدد من مسؤولي الشعب المعنية، وممثلي منظمات المجتمع المدني الفاعلة في المحافظة.

تأتي هذه الاتفاقية امتداداً لمسار من التعاون المثمر مع المفوضية، والذي تضمن تنفيذ العديد من الأنشطة المشتركة منذ عام 2017، لا سيما في حملات المدافعة عن قضايا حقوق الإنسان.

وتهدف الاتفاقية إلى دعم جهود منظمات المجتمع المدني وتعزيز دورها كشريك أساسي في حماية حقوق الإنسان ونشر مفاهيمها في المجتمع، بما ينسجم مع قانون المفوضية العليا لحقوق الإنسان رقم (53) لسنة 2008 المعدل.

كما تؤكد المسلة التزامها بمواصلة العمل المشترك مع الجهات المعنية، بما يسهم في تحقيق مجتمع أكثر وعياً وعدالة، قائم على احترام الحقوق والحريات.

Because human rights are not built through individual efforts alone, but through genuine partnerships, this step reflects a new phase of cooperation between Al-Mesalla Organization for Human Resources Development and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Ninawa.

The signing ceremony took place on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in the presence of Mr. Yasser Zia Saeed, Director of the Office in Ninawa, along with a number of relevant officials and representatives of civil society organizations active in the governorate.

This agreement builds on a long-standing and productive partnership with OHCHR, which has included the implementation of numerous joint activities since 2017, particularly in campaigns supporting human rights defenders.

The agreement aims to support the efforts of civil society organizations and strengthen their role as key partners in protecting human rights and promoting their values within society, in line with the Law of the High Commission for Human Rights No. (53) of 2008, as amended.

Al-Mesalla also reaffirms its commitment to continued collaboration with relevant authorities to contribute to building a more aware and just society founded on respect for rights and freedoms.

تعد الشراكات الاستراتيجية جسور حقيقية تربط بين الرؤى والطموحات، وتفتح آفاقاً جديدة للعمل المشترك نحو مستقبل أكثر استدامة وعدالة. ومن هذا المنطلق، تأتي أهمية اللقاءات التي لا تكتفي بتقييم الماضي، بل تسعى إلى إعادة تشكيل ملامح المرحلة المقبلة بروحٍ أكثر ابتكاراً وتأثيراً.

عقدت منظمة المسلة اجتماعاً استراتيجياً في العاصمة الإيطالية روما مع شريكتها طويلة الأمد Un Ponte Per، في خطوة تعكس عمق العلاقة الممتدة بين الجانبين منذ تأسيس المنظمة عام 2004.

ومثّل اللقاء محطة مهمة لاستذكار مسيرة عقدين من التعاون المشترك، حيث تطورت الشراكة من الاستجابات الإنسانية الطارئة إلى شراكة تنموية متكاملة، كما شكّل مساحة لتوحيد الرؤى الاستراتيجية للمرحلة المقبلة.

وناقش الطرفان خلال الاجتماع آليات إدماج مفاهيم العدالة البيئية و”الفن من أجل التغيير” (Youth Artivism) ضمن سياق عمل المجتمع المدني في العراق، مع التأكيد على أهمية تعزيز المساحات المدنية المستقلة والأفقية، وترسيخ مبادئ الحوكمة الرشيدة والشفافية.

وفي إطار هذا التعاون المستمر، جدّدت منظمة المسلة وشريكها التزامهما بتعزيز صمود المؤسسات المحلية، ودعم الأصوات القاعدية العراقية لقيادة مسارات الاستقرار، والمساهمة في ترسيخ قيم التعبير الديمقراطي في المنطقة.

Strategic partnerships serve as vital bridges between visions and ambitions, opening new horizons for collaboration toward a more sustainable and just future. From this perspective, such meetings are not merely opportunities to reflect on the past, but to reshape the direction of the next phase with a more innovative and impactful approach.

In this context, Al-Mesalla held a strategic meeting in Rome with its long-term partner Un Ponte Per, reflecting the depth of a partnership that has spanned since the organization’s establishment in 2004.

The meeting marked an important milestone in revisiting two decades of joint cooperation, during which the partnership evolved from emergency humanitarian response to an integrated development approach. It also provided a platform to align strategic visions for the coming phase.

Discussions focused on integrating the concepts of environmental justice and “Youth Artivism” within the broader framework of civil society work in Iraq. Both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening independent and horizontal civic spaces, as well as reinforcing the principles of good governance and transparency.

As part of this ongoing collaboration, Al-Mesalla and its partner renewed their commitment to strengthening the resilience of local institutions, supporting Iraqi grassroots voices to lead pathways toward stability, and contributing to the promotion of democratic values across the region.

عقدت المسلة اجتماعاً استراتيجياً في باريس، مع Ronan Dantec، عضو مجلس الشيوخ الفرنسي، لمناقشة التحديات الملحّة للتغير المناخي في العراق، إلى جانب دور المجتمع المدني في مواجهتها.

أكدت المسلة خلال لقائها أن التدهور البيئي لا يُعد أزمة بيئية فحسب، بل يمثل أحد أبرز العوامل المؤثرة في عدم الاستقرار المجتمعي وتزايد معدلات النزوح والهجرة في المنطقة. تركّزت المناقشات حول استراتيجية المسلة الخاصة بالتغير المناخي، والتي تقوم على تمكين الشباب من خلال مبادرات “الفن من أجل التغيير” (Artivism) لتعزيز الوعي والمناصرة البيئية، إضافة إلى بناء قدرات المجموعات المحلية لتمكينها من رصد المؤشرات البيئية وتنفيذ مشاريع التكيّف المجتمعي.

كما شددت المسلة على أهمية دمج مفاهيم الحوكمة الرشيدة مع القضايا البيئية، من خلال تعزيز الأطر الإدارية الشفافة والمسؤولة التي تضمن إدارة مستدامة للموارد الطبيعية وتعزز قدرة المجتمعات على الصمود.

ومن خلال ربط العمل البيئي بتمكين المنظمات المحلية، استعرضت المسلة خارطة طريق تهدف إلى ضمان إشراك مختلف الأصوات المجتمعية في صياغة الاستجابة الوطنية للتغير المناخي في العراق.

وفي ختام الاجتماع، أكد الجانبان على أهمية تعزيز صمود الفاعلين المدنيين، ودعم الجهود الرامية إلى تحقيق العدالة المناخية، مع التشديد على ضرورة استمرار الدعم التشريعي الدولي لقضايا البيئة وحقوق الإنسان.

Al-Mesalla held a strategic meeting in Paris with Ronan Dantec to discuss the urgent challenges of climate change in Iraq, as well as the role of civil society in addressing them.

During the meeting, Al-Mesalla emphasized that environmental degradation is not merely an ecological crisis, but also a key factor contributing to societal instability and increasing rates of displacement and migration in the region. Discussions focused on Al-Mesalla’s climate strategy, which prioritizes youth empowerment through the “Art for Change” (Artivism) initiatives to raise awareness and advocate for environmental issues, alongside building the capacities of local groups to monitor environmental indicators and implement community adaptation projects.

Al-Mesalla also highlighted the importance of integrating good governance principles with environmental issues, promoting transparent and accountable administrative frameworks that ensure sustainable management of natural resources and strengthen community resilience.

By linking environmental action with local organizational empowerment, Al-Mesalla presented a roadmap aimed at ensuring the inclusion of diverse community voices in shaping Iraq’s national response to climate change.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties reaffirmed the importance of strengthening the resilience of civil society actors and supporting efforts to achieve climate justice, while emphasizing the continued need for international legislative support for environmental and human rights issues.
