NCCI - NGO Coordination Committee for Iraq Helping NGOs improve the lives of vulnerable people in Iraq NCCI is an autonomous body that was launched by a group of NGOs present in Baghdad in April 2003.

At the time of inception, the 14 original members focused on establishing a base for objective aid coordination, highlighting intervention priorities and optimizing aid responses in Iraq. NCCI’s activities eventually evolved in accordance with the changing situation in Iraq, and developed into a comprehensive forum where NGOs can exchange information regarding humanitarian activities and policy de

cisions in Iraq. The direct beneficiaries of the services provided by NCCI are the member organizations, followed by the greater NGO community in Iraq and UN agencies. Indirect beneficiaries are the Iraqi communities who directly benefit from NGO projects, since NGOs are assisted by the information exchange, capacity building workshops and security awareness initiatives that are facilitated by NCCI. 3. Training and Capacity Building of NGOs
4. Advocacy

تم عقد المنتدى الرابعة من مشروع استكشاف احتياجات التغيير - حوارات بين المنظمات الغير حكومية والجهات المانحة تحت عنوان دوافع النزاع والاحتياجات الغير ملباة في محافظتي ديالى ونينوى.

تناول المنتدى مواضيع في سياق عملية انتقال مستمرة لهيكل الاستجابة الإنسانية إلى استجابة تنموية في العراق والعمليةال تمويلية المتغيرة. تناول المشاركون من المنظمات غير الحكومية والمجتمع المحلي ووكالات الأمم المتحدة وممثلو الوكالات الدبلوماسية أهمية الحاجة إلى خلق نهج مترابط لمعالجة دوافع الصراع واحتياجات المجتمع على المستوى المحلي، وأهمية إنشاء تنسيق فعال على أساس المنطقة وبرامج مملوكة محليًا.

The forum took place in the context of an ongoing transition of the humanitarian response architecture to a development response in Iraq and a changing funding landscape. Participants from NGOs community, UN agencies and representative from diplomatic agencies tackled how a nexus approach is required to tackle drivers of conflict and community needs on local level, and importance of creating an effective area-based coordination and locally-owned programs.

قدمت لجنة تنسيق المنظمات غير الحكومية لأجل العراق (NCCI)، بالشراكة مع منظمة مساعدات الشعب النرويجي (NPA) وبالتعاون مع منصة الحلول الدائمة(DSP) ، ورشة عمل حول الحلول الدائمة للشركاء من المنظمات غير الحكومية في أربيل. ركزت ورشة العمل على تعميم الحلول ومبادئ ومناهج برمجة الحلول الدائمة وتطبيقها في اليسياق العراقي. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تم تقديم دراسات الحالة من قبل لجنة الإنقاذ الدولية (IRC) ومنظمة الصحراء للتنمية الاقتصادية SEDO)).

NCCI, in partnership with Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) and collaboration with the Durable Solutions Platform (DSP), held a workshop on durable solutions in Erbil for NGO partners. The workshop focused on solutions mainstreaming, durable solutions programming principles and approaches and applying them in the Iraq context. In addition, case studies were presented by the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and Sahara Economic Development Organization (SEDO).

عقدت لجنة تنسيق المنظمات غير الحكومية لأجل العراق (NCCI) الحوار الثالث بين المنظمات غير الحكومية والجهات المانحة في سلسلة "Navigating Nexus Needs" / "استكشاف احتياجات التغيير" التي يدعمها متكتب المفوضية الأوربية والحماية المدنية (ايكو) في 15 مارس / آذار، حيث اجتمعت المنظمات غير الحكومية الوطنية والدولية والجهات المانحة معًا للتركيز على الاحتياجات التي لا تحظى بالخدمات الكافية وتحديات التنسيق في صلاح الدين ونينوى (الحضر والبعاج).



بينت المنظمات غير الحكومية كيف أن التحديات المتعلقة بالحماية والعنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي وسبل العيش - بما في ذلك التحديات الفريدة التي يواجهها الأشخاص ذوو الإعاقة - تؤثر على حياة الشعب العراقي في هذه المجالات وناقشت الحلول الممكنة مع مجتمع المانحين للتغلب على هذه التحديات.



تضمنت الجلسة عرضًا تقديميًا من IMPACT / REACH وحلقة نقاش مع منظمة شياو / Sheyaw ومنظمة العمل ضد الجوع (ACF) ومركز العدالة (JCI).



من خلال هذه المبادرة، تسعى لجنة تنسيق المنظمات غير الحكومية في العراق إلى خلق مساحة أكبر للحوار الجماعي المباشر وحل المشكلات بين المنظمات غير الحكومية والجهات المانحة لدعم استجابة فعالة لهذه التحديات.



NCCI held the third NGO-donor dialogue in the ECHO-supported 'Navigating Nexus Needs' series on 15 March, bringing national and international NGOs and donors together to focus on underserved needs and coordination challenges in Salah al-Din and Ninewa (Hatra and Ba’aj).



NGOs highlighted how challenges related to protection, GBV and livelihoods – including unique challenges faced by persons with disabilities – are impacting the lives of Iraqi people in these areas and discussed possible solutions with the donor community to overcome these issues.



The session included a presentation from IMPACT/REACH and a discussion panel with Sheyaw Organization, Action Against Hunger (ACF) and Justice Center (JCI).



Through this initiative, the NGO Coordination Committee for Iraq seeks to create more space for direct group dialogue and problem-solving between NGOs and donors to support an effective response to these challenges.

اقامت لجنة تنسيق المنظمات غير الحكومية لأجل العراق في السابع و الثامن و التاسع من شهر آذار وبدعم من صندوق الامم المتحدة للديمقراطية تدريب تكوين المدربين لموظفي دائرة المنظمات غير الحكومية بهدف تعزيز وبناء قدرات موظفين الحكومة وتم تسليم شهادات معتمدة للمشاركين في التدريب.

On the 7th , 8th and 9th of March NCCI held TOT training funded by UNDEF for DNGO GOI staff with the aim of strengthening and building the capacities of government employees, accredited certificates were distributed to the participants.

On February 15th and 16th of February 2023, NCCI facilitated a two daytraining course for the DNGO-KRI. The Department of Information of the DNGO-KRI provided internal training to their staff on the basic principles of Windows, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel; as well as how to use their new database system. The training course is part of the DNGO’s plan to develop the capacity of its employees and institutionalise the office through digitisation of procedures and reduction of routine.

اقامت لجنة تنسيق المنظمات غير الحكومية لأجل العراق ورشة عمل في اربيل والتي جمعت بين ممثلي عدد من منظمات المجتمع المدني المحلية وفروع المنظمات الاجنبية المنضوية تحت فريق عمل التوطين بحضور ممثلين عن دائرة المنظمات غير الحكومية، كان الهدف من هذه الورشة هو مناقشة الدليل الارشادي وكيفية استخدامه مستقبلا لزيادة هذا التعاون بين المنظمات والجهات الحكومية.

اقامت لجنة تنسيق المنظمات غير الحكومية لأجل العراق ورشة عمل في اربيل بخصوص التوطين بالشراكة مع منظمة مساعدات الشعب النرويجي والتي حضرها عدد من ممثلي منظمات المجتمع المدني المحلية وفروع المنظمات الاجنبية المنضوية تحت فريق عمل التوطين وبحضور ممثلين عن دائرتي المنظمات غير الحكومية(بغداد واربيل). كان الهدف من هذه الورشة هو مناقشة خطة التوطين الاستراتيجية وتحديثها استنادا الى اولويات التوطين المثبتة في هذه الخطة.
