We are proud to announce our unwavering commitment to enhancing the health system in Iraq. In partnership with Malteser International, and with the generous support of BMZ, we have worked closely with the Directorate of Health in Ninawa to drive environmental protection initiatives over the past three years. Our dedication as a health NGO has seen us deliver comprehensive training to health staff in Infection Prevention and Control (IPC), segregation of medical waste, and the safe transport of medical waste to the state-of-the-art waste management facility at Sinjar Hospital.

A significant milestone in our project has been the donation of a specialized medical waste collection truck, ensuring efficient waste collection from 12 primary health care centers and one major general hospital in the Sinjar district of Ninawa Governorate, Iraq. We have successfully trained over 300 health staff in IPC and Medical Waste Management, equipping them with the skills to make a lasting impact. Additionally, our efforts have provided invaluable raw data for researchers dedicated to this field. We take immense pride in our team's relentless dedication and the tangible results achieved through their hard work.

نحن فخورون بالإعلان عن التزامنا الثابت بتعزيز النظام الصحي في العراق. وبالشراكة مع منظمة مالتيزر الدولية وبدعم سخي من الوزارة الاتحادية للتعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية، عملنا بشكل وثيق مع مديرية الصحة في نينوى لدفع مبادرات حماية البيئة على مدى السنوات الثلاث الماضية. لقد أدى تفانينا كمنظمة غير حكومية صحية إلى تقديم تدريب شامل للموظفين الصحيين في مجال الوقاية من العدوى ومكافحتها (IPC)، وفصل النفايات الطبية، والنقل الآمن للنفايات الطبية إلى منشأة إدارة النفايات في مستشفى سنجار.

كان من المعالم الهامة في مشروعنا التبرع بشاحنة متخصصة لجمع النفايات الطبية، مما يضمن جمع النفايات بكفاءة من 12 مركزًا للرعاية الصحية الأولية ومستشفى سنجار العام في قضاء سنجار في محافظة نينوى. لقد نجحنا في تدريب أكثر من 300 موظف صحي على الوقاية من العدوى ومكافحتها وإدارة النفايات الطبية، وتزويدهم بالمهارات اللازمة لإحداث تأثير دائم. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، قدمت جهودنا بيانات أولية لا تقدر بثمن للباحثين المتخصصين في هذا المجال. نحن نفخر بشدة بتفاني فريقنا المستمر والنتائج الملموسة التي حققها من خلال عملهم الشاق.

On Tuesday, April 2, 2024, the ceremony of opening the new Physical Rehabilitation Center was conducted at Tal Afar General Hospital, the building was established and constructed by the DAMA -Doctor’s Aid for Medical Activities in partnership with Malteser International and with generous support from the German Federal Ministry for International Cooperation and Development. The event took place at 11PM. by the governor of Ninevah, with presence of the Director General of DoH, the District Governor of Tal Afar, the director of the hospital, the officials and heads of departments in the hospital, in addition to representatives of the DAMA organization, representatives of Malteser International, representatives of the committees supervising the work from the projects department in DoH, members of the supervisory committee from Tal Afar General Hospital, and a large group of staff working in the hospital, and the Governor praised what was implemented, thanking the efforts made by all parties and firms that contributed to the success of the work, with appreciation and special thanks for the role played by local and international humanitarian organizations in supporting and enhancing stability in Iraq in all fields in general and the health sector in particular.
Now and after the opening the center will start serve the whole area of west Ninevah, with a catchment population of 457,073 for Sinjar (237,073) and Talafar (220,00) in addition to the districts of Zummar and Baaj.

في يوم الثلاثاء المصادف 2-4-2024 تم افتتاح بناية مركز العلاج الطبيعي في مستشفى تلعفر العام والذي قامت منظمة اطباء مساعدون للنشاطات الطبية بإنشائه بالمشاركة مع منظمة مالتيزر الدولية وبدعم سخي من الوزارة الاتحادية للتعاون والتنمية الدولي الالمانية حيث تم الافتتاح في الساعة الحادية عشرة صباحا من قبل السيد محافظ نينوى المحترم وبحضور السيد مدير عام دائرة صحة نينوى وقائمقام قضاء تلعفر ومدير المستشفى والسادة مسؤولي ورؤساء الاقسام في المستشفى بالإضافة الى ممثلي منظمة DAMA وممثلي منظمة مالتيزر الدولية وممثلي اللجان المشرفة على العمل من قسم المشاريع في دائرة صحة نينوى واعضاء اللجنة المشرفة من مستشفى تلعفر العام وجمع غفير من الكوادر العاملة في المستشفى وقد اشاد السيد المحافظ بما تم تنفيذه شاكرا الجهود المبذولة من جميع الجهات والاطراف التي ساهمت في انجاح العمل مع تثمين وشكر خاص للدور التي تقوم به المنظمات الإنسانية المحلية والدولية في دعم وتعزيز الاستقرار في العراق في جميع المجالات بصورة عامة والقطاع الصحي بشكل خاص .

الآن وبعد الافتتاح سيبدأ المركز في خدمة منطقة غرب نينوى بأكملها، حيث يبلغ عدد السكان المستهدفين في سنجار (237.073) وتلعفر (220.00) بالإضافة إلى قضاءي زمار وبعاج.

7 سنوات من الخدمه الإنسانية والعطاء
7 سنوات من دعم قطاع الصحه في اقليم كردستان والعراق وبعد توفير وتخصيص الموارد البشرية والاقتصادية وتشغيل وتحريك الآليات وبناء واعادة تأهيل المستشفيات والمراكز الصحية وبعد تدريب وتطوير القدرات البشرية و رفع الوعي المجتمعي والتثقيف الصحي في أكثر من ٧ محافظات عراقية.
لا يسعنا الا ان نتقدم باسم الهيئة الإدارية والهيئة العامة بالشكر والتقدير للكوادر العاملة في الخطوط الامامية والكوادر الخفية الإدارية الداعمة لهذه الخدمات الإنسانية.
ان في يوم الثالث عشر من كانون الثاني لسنة ٢٠١٦ زرعنا بذرة عطاءنا وعزيمتنا لتأسيس نظام دعم إنساني ومؤسسة خيرية والان نشاهدها تكبر وتنمو وتتطور أمامنا لتصبح شجرة كبيرة معمرة يأوي تحت ضلها المحتاجين والنازحين واللاجئين.

After 7 years after the founding of the organization
After 7 years of humanitarian service and giving
7 years of supporting the health sector in the Kurdistan region and Iraq, and after providing and allocating human and economic resources, operating and moving mechanisms, building and rehabilitating hospitals and health centers, and after training and developing human capabilities, raising community awareness and health education in more than 7 Iraqi governorates.
We can only extend our thanks and appreciation to the front-line staff and the hidden administrative employee supporting these humanitarian services.
on 13/1/2016, we planted the seed of our giving and determination to establish a humanitarian support system and a charitable institution, and now we are watching it grow, grow and develop in front of us to become a large perennial tree under which the needy, the displaced and the refugees are sheltered.

Six volunteer doctors created this slogan (dedicated to hope, cure and recovery) in 2016
And now we see hundreds of medical and non-medical staff working under this slogan in order to achieve the goals of Doctors Aid for medical activities

بحظور السيد ( اسماعيل ابراهيم خليل) ممثل قائم مقام تلعفر , الدكتور(محفوظ ياسين موسى) مدير مستشفى تلعفر العام و السيد (ناظم صابر حسين) مدير بلدية تلعفر, تم وضع حجر الأساس لمشروع بناء مركز التأهيل البدني والعلاج الطبيعي في مستشفى تلعفر العام , حيث ويأتي هذا المركز كنموذج جديد وفكرة مكملة للخدمات الطبية الأساسية و الثانوية التي يحتاج إليها المواطن الساكن في قضاء تلعفر, أن هذا المركز المتخصص سوف يوفر الخدمة أيضا للسكان في قضاء سنجار من أجل توفير خدمات إعادة التأهيل البدني لمختلف الأعمار.
‏ ‏ ‏بعد إتمام أعمال البناء ستقوم منظمتنا بتجهيز المركز بالأجهزه والمعدات الطبية والمستلزمات الأساسية والأثاث ‏والمواد الأخرى الضرورية من أجل تقديم الخدمات الطبية والتي تشمل ما يلي:-
• ‏توفير العلاج الطبيعي للأشخاص الذين يعانون من الامراض و الاصابات التي بحاجة إلى جلسات منتظمة ولفترات طويلة من أجل الحصول على النتائج المتوقعة
• ‏توفير (إعادة التأهيل المائي) الهايدروثيرابي من خلال الاستفادة من خصائص الماء في علاج أمراض مثل الشلل الدماغي والسكتة الدماغية (الشلل) وإصابات الحبل الشوكي
• ‏توفير التدريبات الخاصة بالعلاج البدني وتقوية العضلات والجهاز الحركي للأشخاص الذين يعانون من ضمور العضلات خاصة بعد العمليات الجراحية وبعض الحالات المرضية الخاصة
• توفير العلاج الطبيعي للاشخاص الذين يعانون من الاصابات الرياضية
• ‏الخدمات الاستشارية في مجال المفاصل وجراحة العظام و الكسور والجملة العصبية من أجل تقديم الاستشارات الطبية المتعلقة الجهاز الحركي والعصبي والعضلي
يشمل هذا المشروع ايضا تدريب الكوادر الطبية على الطرق الحديثة في مجال العلاج الطبيعي و التاهيل البدني.
‏ ‏بعد الانتهاء من هذا المشروع سيوفر المركز الخدمة حسب ضوابط العمل و التعليمات المعمول بها في وزارة الصحة العراقية و دائرة صحة نينوي وسوف يتم تشغيله و توفير الخدمة عن طريق الكوادر الحالية الموجودة في مستشفى تلعفر العام في شعبة العلاج الطبيعي
‏ أن هذا المشروع سوف يقلل أو سوف يخفف على المرضى عناء السفر والتنقل من قضاء تلعفرإلى مدينة الموصل من أجل الحصول على خدمات العلاج الطبيعي والتأهيل البدني وسوف يخفف المشروع أيضا الزخم على مركز اعادة التأهيل البدني في مدينة الموصل.
‏بالاضافة ان هذا المشروع سوف يخدم الكثافة سكانية التي تقدر بي اكثر من 500,000 شخص من الساكنين في هذه المناطق
يتم تنفيذ هذا المشروع بدعم سخي من الوزارة الاتحادية للتعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية (BMZ) الالمانية و بالتعاون مع الشريك منظمة مالتيزر الدولية و بالتنسيق مع مستشفى تلعفر العام و دائرة صحة نينوى

In the presence of Mr. (Ismail Ibrahim Khalil), the representative of the mayor of Tal Afar, Dr. (Mahfouz Yassin Musa) Director of Tal Afar General Hospital, and Mr. (Nazim Saber Hussein) Director of the Municipality of Tal Afar, the foundation stone was laid for the project of building a physical rehabilitation center in Tal Afar General Hospital, this center comes as a new model and an idea that complements the basic and secondary medical services that the citizen living in Tal Afar district needs. This specialized center will also provide service to the population in Sinjar and Baaj districts through providing physical rehabilitation services for all ages.
‏After completing the construction work, our organization will provide the center with medical devices, equipment, basic supplies, furniture and other necessary materials in order to provide medical services, which include the following:
• Providing physical therapy for people who suffer from diseases and injuries that need regular sessions for long periods in order to obtain the expected results.
• Provide (hydro-therapy) in the treatment of diseases such as cerebral palsy, stroke (paralysis), and spinal cord injuries
• Providing physical exercise for strengthening the muscles and locomotor system for people who suffer from muscle atrophy, especially after sport injury, surgeries and some special medical conditions.
• Providing physiotherapy for people who suffer from sports injuries
• Consultation services in the field of rheumatology, orthopedics, neurology in order to provide medical consultations related to the locomotor, nervous and muscular system
This project also includes training of medical personnel on modern methods in the field of physiotherapy and physical rehabilitation.
After the completion of this project, the center will provide the service according to the work regulations and instructions in the Iraqi Ministry of Health and the Nineveh Health Directorate.
This project will reduce or will relieve the patients of the trouble of traveling and moving from Tal Afar district to the city of Mosul in order to obtain physiotherapy and physical rehabilitation services, and the project will also reduce the patients load on the physical rehabilitation center in the city of Mosul.
In addition, this project will serve the population density estimated at more than 500,000 people living in these areas.
This project is being implemented with the generous support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and in cooperation with the our partner Maltesers International, in coordination with Tal Afar General Hospital and the Nineveh Health Directorate.

So far in Sulaymaniyah province, 14 people have died and 1,234 cases have been recorded in addition to many underreported cholera cases.
To prevent further spread of Cholera, our community health volunteers in Sulaymaniyah governorate started the awareness raising within the community.
This project is implemented in partnership with Johanniter organization and funds from ADH.
حتى الآن في محافظة السليمانية ، توفي 14 شخصًا وتم تسجيل 1234 حالة بالإضافة إلى العديد من حالات الكوليرا التي لم يتم الإبلاغ عنها.
لمنع المزيد من انتشار الكوليرا ، بدأ متطوعونا الصحيون المجتمعيون في محافظة السليمانية رفع مستوى الوعي داخل المجتمع.
يتم تنفيذ هذا المشروع بالشراكة مع منظمة Johanniter وبتمويل من ADH.

تا ئێستا لە پارێزگای سلێمانی 14 کەس گیانیان لەدەستداوە و 1234 حاڵەتیش تۆمارکراوە جگە لە حاڵەتێکی زۆر کە تۆمارنەکراون بە نەخۆشی کۆلێرا.
