MISSION:
Offering medical and health services to citizens and residents of Kurdistan region of Iraq, and to promote health awareness on non-profitable basis. In addition to offer and distribute nonfood items in line of medical services. Also, to enhance the efficiency of individuals working in the medical sector, in order to live in a healthy and safe environment. VISION:
To reach out for all society members who are in need for medical services, and to provide them with unique services, in addition to protect them from diseases and epidemics. Moreover, to spread these services throughout Kurdistan region of Iraq, and to transfer modern and developed medical knowledge to all medical specialists and personnel, as a mean to enable DAMA to play a supportive role within the public sector organizations. To spread the principle of preventive medicine, in order to enhance health awareness among the society.
3. To enhance the efficiency of individuals working in the medical sector through conducting health training courses, workshops and conferences.
4. To provide medical counseling and to contribute in offering general aid and financial help to the needy, and to take part with other institutions that offer similar programs.
6. To introduce medical rights to the public and educate them about medical mal practice.
7. To protect the public from diseases and pollution.
8. Cooperate with other organizations of similar objectives related to family and child protection.
9. Assist older persons in case of sickness and disability
10. Provision of health services to citizens and residents of non-medically insured and non-able financially
11. Participation in national committees, international and regional organizations in health and the environment issues.
12. Integration with public sector institutions in achieving national objectives in the areas of work of the society.
13. Support for continuing education and training of medical cadres, of local, regional, and international levels
14. Cooperation with local, regional, and international institutions, in order to achieve the goals and objectives of the society
15. Contribute to introduce of medical achievements of Kurdistan region of Iraq and expertise
16. Contribution with other partners to find a coordination umbrella for NGOs who are working in medical and environmental issues
17. Representation of the international organizations working in the areas of health, environment and humanity.
18. The provision of necessary medical assistance in cases of natural and other disasters
20. Provide assistance in the field of mental health of children and their education.
