SOMD and Tishk University Mark International Anti-Corruption Day with Workshop on KRG Strategy

In celebration of International Anti-Corruption Day, the STOP Organization for Monitoring and Development (SOMD), in collaboration with Tishk University, organized a workshop titled: “Assessing the KRG Anti-Corruption Strategy Plan (2021-2025).”
The workshop aimed to promote constructive dialogue among academia, civil society, and policymakers, focusing on evaluating progress and identifying areas for improvement in the implementation of the strategy.
As part of the event, the General Manager of the Integrity Commission delivered an in-depth presentation. Following this, Farman Rashad, representing SOMD, shared an NGO perspective on the strategy’s implementation challenges and successes.
The workshop concluded with a dynamic discussion, where academics, experts, and students provided their insights and recommendations, contributing to a meaningful dialogue on combating corruption in the Kurdistan Region.
