JWL believes that tertiary learning and the formation of a global community of learners addresses the root causes of poverty, isolation, despair, conflict and displacement. JWL knows education fosters hope.

Our Mission - JWL provides equitable high quality tertiary learning to people and communities at the margins of societies - be it through poverty, location, lack of opportunity, conflict or forced displacement – so all can contribute their knowledge and voices to the global community of learners and together foster hope to create a more peaceful and humane world.

Our values - As a Jesuit mission, we are committed to Christian values and to the pedagogy of the founder of the order, Ignatius of Loyola. In his spirit, we seek to help the poor, the displaced, and the marginalized - to help them better their lives - and, in this way, support and develop the leaders of the future. As our Executive President, Father Peter Balleis SJ, says, “Forming critical, solution-oriented personalities is the key to peace.

”Our Success - In 2010, the digital academic program was formed by several US Jesuit Universities. Since then we educated more than 6.000 young men and women from more than 40 countries by partnering with organizations such as CAPNI and JRS. Our higher educational programs from English Language and Professional Certificate courses to the internationally accepted diploma „Diploma of Liberal Arts“ and Bachelors.
