On behalf of the Chapter leadership and all Fellows of the Kurdistan Region Iraq Chapter of the American College of Surgeons, we extend our warmest congratulations to our Chapter Governor, Dr. Abdullah Saeed Abdulla, on his appointment as Program Director of Intra-abdominal Solid Organ Transplant at the Kurdistan Board for Medical Specialties.

This prestigious appointment is a testament to Prof. Zibari’s outstanding contributions to the field. His prior leadership as President of the Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, as well as his recent election as Chair of the International Relations Committee for the American Society of Transplant Surgeons, further highlight his distinguished commitment to advancing hepatobiliary and transplant surgery globally.
