As part of the Skills to Industry initiative, participants had the opportunity to continue their learning through 10 sessions practical training with our partner company.
This experience allowed them to apply their CAD/CAM skills in a real working environment, gain hands-on experience, and better understand industry practices.

This program is implemented by Erbil Makers Hub in partnership with GIZ’s ProDIGI project, as part of the Team Europe Initiative and co-financed by the European Union and the Federal Republic of Germany.

Participants of Solar Systems Training – Cohort 2 gained hands-on experience through field visits to different solar projects, practical activities, and discussions with industry professionals.
From observing project implementation to learning about planning, installation, and real workplace processes, participants had the opportunity to connect their technical knowledge with real-world practice and better understand the growing role of solar energy in the industry.

Over the past two weeks, Cohort 3 participants continued building their practical skills in Industrial Automation and PLC based control systems training.
Throughout the past two weeks, they explored key industrial control components, developed PLC programs, and applied automation logic through hands-on exercises using real equipment. The practical sessions provided participants with valuable experience in connecting theory to real world industrial applications.

Through teamwork and hands-on learning, our CAD/CAM participants worked together to design their own puzzle, prepare the pieces, and bring the final design to life through laser cutting.

A practical experience where creativity, collaboration, and technical skills came together to turn an idea into a real product.

From Design to Assembly ⚙️

Step by step, participants brought the Hexapod Robot to life, from designing and preparing its individual components to manufacturing the parts and assembling them into a complete robotic structure.

A hands-on process that demonstrates how CAD/CAM skills move from digital design to real-world application.
