AAS-Iraq Continues Supporting Assyrian Education by Distributing Lecturers’ Salaries and Transportation Allowances
As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting Assyrian education, the Assyrian Aid Society – Iraq, with generous support from the Assyrian Evangelical Church of San Jose and in coordination with the Assyrian Aid Society of America, distributed lecturers’ salaries and transportation allowances for the months of March, April, and May 2026.
The project covered the salaries of 61 lecturers working within the Assyrian education program, in addition to transportation costs for 13 dedicated routes that enable them to reach their teaching locations, helping ensure the continuity of the educational process and addressing logistical challenges faced by teaching staff.
This support reflects AAS-Iraq’s commitment to investing in Assyrian education as a vital means of preserving the Assyrian language, culture, and identity, while contributing to human and community development by providing a stable educational environment that enables lecturers to continue their mission effectively.
The beneficiaries expressed their appreciation for the continued support provided by the donors and AAS-Iraq, emphasizing that this initiative contributes to strengthening the stability of Assyrian education and ensuring the continuity of its educational programs across different regions.

الجمعية الآشورية الخيرية – العراق تواصل دعم التعليم السرياني بتوزيع أجور المحاضرين وأجور النقل
في إطار التزامها المستمر بدعم التعليم السرياني، قامت الجمعية الآشورية الخيرية – العراق، وبدعم كريم من الكنيسة الآشورية الإنجيلية في سان هوزيه، وبالتنسيق مع الجمعية الآشورية الخيرية في أمريكا، بتوزيع أجور المحاضرين وأجور النقل لأشهر آذار ونيسان وأيار 2026.
وشمل المشروع صرف أجور 61 محاضراً ومحاضرة في برنامج التعليم السرياني، إلى جانب تغطية أجور النقل لـ13 خطاً مخصصاً لنقلهم إلى مواقع عملهم، بما يسهم في ضمان انتظام العملية التعليمية وتذليل التحديات اللوجستية التي قد تواجه الكوادر التدريسية.
ويجسد هذا الدعم رؤية الجمعية في الاستثمار في التعليم السرياني بوصفه ركيزة أساسية للحفاظ على اللغة والثقافة والهوية، إلى جانب دوره في بناء الإنسان وتنمية المجتمع، بما يهيئ بيئة تعليمية مستقرة تُمكّن المحاضرين من مواصلة أداء رسالتهم بكفاءة واستمرارية.
وأعرب المستفيدون عن تقديرهم للدعم الذي تقدمه الجهات الداعمة والجمعية الآشورية الخيرية – العراق، مؤكدين أن هذه المبادرة تسهم في تعزيز استقرار التعليم السرياني واستمرار برامجه في مختلف المناطق.
