💙 Avindar’s Story

Avindar is one of the children participating in HOPD’s Child Friendly Space (CFS) Program in Hatin Complex, Sinjar. Despite the challenges he has faced, he continues to show remarkable resilience, curiosity, and determination through his learning, creativity, and participation in activities.

As for Avindar, he says with his small smile, which resembles a window of hope in the middle of hardship:

“I love life… and I will continue to fight against all difficulties.”

His words reflect the strength and hope that inspire us every day.

At Hope Organization for Peace and Development (HOPD), we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream of a brighter future. 💙 New Beginnings on International Children’s Day! 💙

On this special occasion of International Children’s Day, Hope Organization for Peace and Development is proud to launch the second section of 2026 at Hatin Complex – Sinjar.

Following the great success of the previous phase, our Summer Program has officially begun, welcoming 45 newly enrolled children to a safe and supportive environment where they can learn, play, grow, and build hope for the future.

This program is proudly implemented by Hope Organization for Peace and Development, with the support and partnership of Partners Relief & Development. Together, we are creating brighter opportunities and investing in the well-being and development of children in Sinjar.
