A well-known international shipping company based in Um Qasr Port is seeking to hire a qualified and motivated Logistics Specialist to join its growing team.
Location: Umm Qasr Port Basra, Iraq
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily shipping and logistics operations, including import and export processes
Manage shipment documentation (Bill of Lading, invoices, customs clearance documents, etc.)
Liaise with shipping lines, port authorities, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders
Track shipments and ensure timely delivery
Resolve operational challenges efficiently under pressure
Maintain accurate records and prepare operational reports
Ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards
Requirements & Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations
Familiarity with port operations, preferably at Umm Qasr Port
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Strong computer skills (MS Office and relevant systems)
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to business demands
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and organizational ability
Salary:
Basic Salary ranging from IQD 2,500,000 to 3,000,000, based on experience and qualifications
