-عامان من الأثر، مبادرة تُعزّز صمود المجتمع المدني في العراق!
بعد مسيرة عامين من العمل والتأثير، وبمشاركة محلية ودولية اختتم هذا اليوم في العاصمة العراقية بغداد مشروع "مبادرة" تعزيز بيئة تمكينية لمنظمات المجتمع المدني في العراق»، نفذت منظمة جسر إلى الايطالية بالشراكة مع منظمة أفق للتنمية ومنظمة السلام والحرية، وبدعم وتمويل من الاتحاد الأوروبي هذا المؤتمر ليشكّل مساحة للحوار والتفكير الجماعي حول واقع المجتمع المدني في العراق، وما تحقق من إنجازات، وما يواجهه من تحديات حقيقية، وفي مقدمتها القضايا الضريبية وتأثيرها الوجودي على عمل المنظمات غير الربحية.
تضمّن المؤتمر، عرضًا لتجربة المشروع وانعكاساته خلال العامين الماضيين، إلى جانب نقاشٍ مفتوح حول التحديات القانونية والضريبية، وتبادلٍ للآراء بين الفاعلين في المجتمع المدني وصنّاع القرار. وقد توصّل المشاركون، من خلال نقاشاتهم، إلى عددٍ من القضايا والمخرجات التي سيتم طرحها أمام الجهات ذات العلاقة، بهدف الإسهام في معالجة المشكلات التي يمرّ بها المجتمع المدني في العراق.
Two Years of Impact: "Mubadra" Strengthening the Resilience of Civil Society in Iraq
After a two-year journey of work and impact, and with local and international participation, the “Mubadara” project, Enhancing an Enabling Environment for Civil Society Organizations in Iraq, concluded today in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
The final Conference was implemented by the Italian organization Un Ponte Per, in partnership with Ufuq Organization and the Peace and Freedom Organization, with support and funding from the European Union.
The final conference provided a space for dialogue and collective reflection on the current state of civil society in Iraq, the achievements made, and the real challenges it faces, foremost among them tax-related issues and their existential impact on the work of non-profit organizations.
The conference included a presentation of the project’s experience and its outcomes over the past two years, alongside an open discussion on legal and tax challenges, and an exchange of views between civil society actors and decision-makers. Through these discussions, participants identified a number of key issues and recommendations to be presented to relevant authorities, with the aim of contributing to addressing the challenges facing civil society in Iraq.
