🇰🇷🤝🇮🇶 Strengthening Bonds through Compassion and Solidarity
Today, July 6, 2026, the KOICA Iraq Office, alongside the KOICA Alumni Gathering in Iraq (KAAI) and in close cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Baghdad, hosted a meaningful donation event dedicated to supporting children with special needs.
The event took place at the Noor Al Huda Center for Autistic and Disabled Children Care in Baghdad, an essential institution providing vital educational and rehabilitation services for approximately 45 young students (ages 3–14) living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down syndrome, and speech or learning disabilities.
This initiative reflects the Republic of Korea’s continuous commitment to humanitarian assistance and sustainable community development worldwide. By supporting the vulnerable and promoting disability inclusion, we hope to build a brighter, more inclusive environment for these children while further strengthening the deep bonds of friendship between the Korean and Iraqi people.
