“When I joined the data management course, I had very little confidence and had never been in an interview before. Through the career development sessions, I learned how to tailor my CV, search for jobs, and approach employers with confidence. The mock interviews changed everything—at first my hands were shaking, but gradually I became more comfortable. Now, I feel prepared and ready to meet employers.”

Reem, a trainee in the Storage Management System workshop, shares her experience after 10 days of career guidance at the Nineveh Vocational Training Centre.

With support from KOICA, UNESCO is helping youth like Reem gain the skills and confidence they need for employment and small business opportunities in Nineveh.
