ICS gathering all Iraqi chemists, chemical engineers and related professions in Iraq. Moreover, linking Iraqi chemists with their counterparts around the world. Hope to play a major role in educating and communicating the importance of chemistry in our lives to policy makers and the public. This includes identifying new solutions, improving public health, protecting the environment and contributin
g to the economy. Since the US invasion 2003.. ICS is without a headquarters because a religious party have seized on her building in the Mansour district. Many attempts failed to recover it.

ICS الجمعية الكيميائية العراقية هي مجتمع علمي ومصدر للمعلومات العلمية الموثوقة تجمع كل الكيميائيين العراقية والمهندسين الكيميائيين والمهن المرتبطة بالكيمياء في كل العراق. بالإضافة الى ربط الكيميائيين العراقيين مع نظرائهم حول العالم.
نلعب دوراً رئيسياً في التواصل والتثقيف بأهمية الكيمياء في حياتنا لصانعي السياسات وعامة الجمهور. وهذا يشمل تحديد حلول جديدة، وتحسين الصحة العامة، وحماية البيئة والمساهمة في الاقتصاد.
منذ الغزو الامريكي عام 2003 .. ICS هو من دون مقر لحزب ديني ضبطت على بناء لها في حي المنصور. فشلت محاولات كثيرة لاستعادتها.
