واصلت مفوضية اللاجئين، خلال شهر أغسطس، دعم اللاجئين وطالبي اللجوء والنازحين داخلياً في جميع أنحاء العراق، وذلك بالتعاون مع الحكومة والشركاء.

وسواء تعلق الأمر بتعزيز فرص الحصول على الوثائق والحماية، أو دعم العودة الطوعية والاستثمار في الخدمات الأساسية للمجتمعات المضيفة للاجئين، تظل المفوضية ملتزمة بمساعدة الأشخاص الذين أُجبروا على الفرار في العثور على الأمان، وإعادة بناء حياتهم، والحصول على فرص للمستقبل.

📢 فرصة لتعلم اللغات مخصصة للاجئين!

هل أنت لاجئ ترغب في تحسين مهاراتك في اللغة الإنجليزية، أو تعلم اللغة الإسبانية، أو التواصل مع أشخاص من خلفيات متنوعة؟

يُعد برنامج "Let's Chat 2026" مبادرة مجانية لتبادل اللغات عبر الإنترنت، تنظمها اللجنة الإسبانية للمفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين (UNHCR). تهدف المبادرة إلى الربط بين اللاجئين من جميع أنحاء العالم وطلاب الجامعات في إسبانيا؛ وذلك بهدف ممارسة اللغات، وتبادل الخبرات، وبناء روابط هادفة تتجاوز الحواجز الثقافية.

يلتحق حاليًا نحو 50 ألف طفل سوري لاجئ بالمدارس الحكومية في إقليم كوردستان العراق.

وهذا يعني أن 70% من الأطفال السوريين اللاجئين في سن الدراسة يتلقون تعليمهم اليوم، مقارنةً بـ 52% في عام 2022.

ومنذ عام 2022، استثمرت مفوضية اللاجئين ما يقارب 30 مليون دولار لدعم التعليم الشامل، ما ساعد الأطفال اللاجئين على الالتحاق بالمدارس، والاستمرار فيها، واكتساب المعارف والمهارات اللازمة لمستقبلهم.

Around 50,000 Syrian refugee children are now enrolled in public schools across the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

This means that 70% of school-age Syrian refugee children are accessing education today, up from 52% in 2022.

Since 2022, UNHCR has invested nearly $30 million to support inclusive education, helping refugee children enroll, stay in school, and build the knowledge and skills they need for the future.

بعد أربع سنوات في العراق، قرر خالد ووداد العودة إلى سوريا مع ابنتهما أسماء، على أمل لم شملهم مع العائلة وإعادة بناء حياتهم في اللاذقية.

قامت المفوضية واللجنة الدائمة لوزارة الداخلية بدعم الأسرة طوال عملية العودة، حيث قدمت المشورة ودعم التوثيق والمساعدة في إجراءات الخروج والمساعدة النقدية للعودة، ومساعدتهم على اتخاذ قرار طوعي ومستنير بشأن مستقبلهم.

After four years in Iraq, Khalid and Wedad decided to return to Syria with their daughter Asma, hoping to reunite with family and rebuild their lives in Lattakia.

UNHCR and the Permanent Committee of the Ministry of Interior (PC-MOI) supported the family throughout the return process, providing counselling, documentation support, assistance with exit procedures and return cash assistance, helping them make a voluntary and informed decision about their future.

🇪🇺🇩🇪 استقبلنا يوم أمس وفوداً من الاتحاد الاوروبي والقنصلية العامة الألمانية في أربيل في مخيم كويلان للاجئين السوريين بمحافظة دهوك، الذي يأوي حالياً أكثر من 11,000 لاجئ سوري.

أتاحت الزيارة فرصةً للقاء اللاجئين، والاستماع مباشرةً منهم عن ظروف الحياة في المخيم والتحديات التي يواجهونها، ومناقشة آمالهم وتطلعاتهم للمستقبل.

كما اطلع الوفد على خدمات التسجيل والتوثيق والمساعدة القانونية التي تقدمها مفوضية اللاجئين، والتي تساعد اللاجئين في الحصول على حقوقهم والوصول إلى الخدمات الأساسية.

كل الشكر للاتحاد الاوروبي وألمانيا على دعمكم المستمر وتضامنكم مع اللاجئين في العراق.

🇪🇺🇩🇪 Yesterday, we welcomed delegations from EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid and German Consulate General Erbil to Gawilan Refugee Camp in Duhok, currently home to more than 11,000 Syrian refugees.

The visit provided an opportunity to meet with refugees, hear firsthand about life in the camp and the challenges they face, and discuss their hopes and aspirations for the future.

The delegation also learned more about UNHCR's registration, documentation and legal assistance services, which help refugees access their rights and essential services.

Thank you to ECHO and Germany for your continued support and solidarity with refugees in Iraq.
