Nasaq is an independent -Think tank- Non-profit organization, founded to be a platform for enlightened thought, Upscale dialogue and high-level analyzes of strategic issues contribute to creating a new pattern of thinking and intellectual discussion outside the constraints of ideology or politicization in order to generate new ideas that solve the political, economic and social problems that the country suffers and standing at the most important challenges, developing solutions and appropriate mechanisms for them, contributing to strengthening the role of intellectual elites and national competencies in the policy-making process and adoption of scientific theses in the process of establishing the state.

نَّسَق, هي مؤسسة فكر -Think tank- مستقلة, غيرُ ربحيّة, أُسست لتكون منبراً للفكر المستنير, والحوار الخلاق, والتحليلات رفيعة المستوى في القضايا الاستراتيجية, ولتُسهم في خلق نمط جديد من التفكير والمناقشة الفكرية خارج قيود الأيديولوجيا أو التسييس بغية توليد أفكار جديدة تحل المشكلات السياسية, والاقتصادية, والاجتماعية التي يعاني منها البلد, والوقوف عند أهم التحديات ووضع الحلول والآليات المناسبة لها, والإسهام في تعزيز دور النُّخب الفكريّة والكفاءات الوطنيّة في عملية رسم السياسات وصنع القرارات لبناء رؤية علمية تؤمن بثقافة الحوار وتبني الأطروحات العلمية في مسيرة بناء الدولة .

تتسم الأنظمة المتطورة بسماتٍ كثيرة, منها تنوع وتعدد مصادر صُنع القرار فيها؛ بين مؤسساتٍ حكومية, واخرى غير حكومية, وفي مقدمة المؤسسات غير الحكومية تأتي مؤسسات البحث والتفكير, إذ تؤدي تلك المؤسسات دوراً مهماً في مُدخلات متخذي القرار عبر قنواتٍ عدة, لذا أصبحت تلك المؤسسات ظاهرةً مائزة في الأنظمة السياسية المتطورة, تستطيع التأثير في أعلى مراكز القرار, لتمارس دورَ الفاعل المؤثر وصانع الأفكار الاستراتيجية التي تصبح - فيما بعد - سياساتٍ عامة, وهي تُركز عملها على توليد وتطوير ونشر الأفكار وتسويقها للنُخبة والرأي العام على حدٍ سواء, في نمطٍ جديد للضغط على صناع القرار, ومتخذيه, لتبني تلك الأفكار.
