إن حماية حقوق المرأة ليست واجبًا قانونيًا فحسب، بل هي ركيزة أساسية لبناء دولة عادلة تستند إلى المساواة وتكافؤ الفرص، وتُصان فيها كرامة المواطنين. تتطلّب مواجهة العنف والتمييز ضد المرأة منظومةً متكاملةً من التشريعات الفعّالة، وإرادةً مؤسسيةً جادّة في تنفيذها، ووعيًا اجتماعيًا يرفع من مكانة المرأة ويدعم حضورها في الشأن العام.
يؤمن مركز الرشيد للتنمية بأن مستقبل العراق يتحقق بقدرة المرأة على المشاركة الكاملة في الحياة السياسية والاقتصادية ولهذا نواصل العمل من أجل بيئة آمنة تحمي النساء من كل أشكال العنف، وتُعزز فرصهن في التعليم والعمل وصنع القرار، وتفتح أمامهن الطريق لتحقيق طموحاتهن وإحداث التغيير الإيجابي في المجتمع.
Protecting women’s rights is not merely a legal obligation; it is a fundamental pillar for building a just state founded on equality and equal opportunities, where the dignity of all citizens is safeguarded. Confronting violence and discrimination against women requires an integrated system of effective legislation, strong institutional will to enforce it, and a social awareness that elevates women’s status and supports their participation in public life.
The Al Rasheed Center for Development believes that Iraq’s future is realized through women’s full participation in political and economic life. For this reason, we continue working to ensure a safe environment that protects women from all forms of violence, enhances their opportunities in education, employment, and decision-making, and opens pathways for them to achieve their aspirations and contribute to positive change in society.
