بۆ نموونه‌؛ لە ڕووی شیکاریی سیاسییەوە، ڕاپرسییەکە دەریدەخات، کە تەنها فاكته‌ره‌ ئابوورییەکان هۆکار نین بۆ دیاردەی "نامۆبوونی سیاسی و بێباکیی سیاسی" بەڵکو ڕیشەی قەیرانەکە پەیوەستە بە "لاوازی متمانەی دامەزراوەیی"یەوە. له‌م باره‌یه‌وه‌ ٥٧٪ی بەشداربووان ده‌ڵێن: هیچ متمانەیەکیان بە پەرلەمانی کوردستان نییە، و زۆرینەشیان بڕوایان وایە نوخبەی سیاسی گرنگی بە پێداویستییەکانی ڕای گشتی نادەن. ئەم دۆخەش وایکردووە بەشداربووان دابەش ببن بەسەر دوو ئاراستەدا: گرووپێک، کە لە پرۆسەی سیاسی بێهیوا بوون، و گرووپێک، کە هەست بە پەراوێزخستن و بێکاریگەریی سیاسی دەکەن.

The fifth episode of Frontline, titled “One Nation, One Army: Is the Era of the Quasi-State Over? From Rojava to Erbil: Who Survives?”, brings together Asst. Prof. Dr. Kardo Rached and Dr. Zakia Aqra, an expert in International Relations and Foreign Policy at Neapolis University Pafos, to discuss the future of quasi-state actors in the Middle East.
Dr. Aqra discussed political inclusion, the evolution of the Rojava project, and the social conditions that can contribute to radicalization.
“If communities are not truly included in the political process and are denied equal rights, the same dynamics that produced armed movements will emerge again.”
She highlighted the historical development of the Rojava project:
“The project of Rojava did not emerge in 2011 or 2012. It existed before in different forms and became visible when cracks appeared in the system.”
She also addressed the social conditions that can contribute to radicalization:
“Radicalization comes from desperate people, traumatized people, and people who never received the opportunities others had.”

داتاکانی ئەم ڕاپۆرتە لە ڕێگەی 1161 چاوپێکەوتنی تەلەفۆنیی ڕێکخراو، بە سیستەمی (‏CATI‏) کۆکراونەتەوە، ‏کە لە نێوان (8 بۆ 30)ی حوزەیرانی 2026 لە هەر چوار پارێزگای (هەولێر، سلێمانی، دهۆک و هەڵەبجە) ‏ئەنجام دراون. كه‌ لێکۆڵینەوە لە تێڕوانین و ڕەفتاری سیاسی لەژێر فشاری ئابووری و ئەمنیدا دەکات، ‏هه‌روه‌ك تیشک دەخاتە سەر ئەو دۆزینەوانەی بۆ داڕشتنی سیاسەت و بڕیاردەرە سیاسییەکان ‏گرنگن.‏

ئەنجامەکانی ڕاپرسییه‌كه‌ ئاماژە بە لاوازیی متمانەی دامەزراوەیی دەکەن؛ به‌جۆرێك 57.5% متمانەیان بە ‏پەرلەمان کەمە، یان هەر نییە، لە 52.4% ویستی سیاسیی کەمیان هەیە (واتە بەشداریی سیاسییان کەمە ‏یان نایانەوێت بەشدار بن)، و لە 52.0% دڵەڕاوکێیەکی ئەمنیی زۆریان هەیە. ‏

یەکێک لە گرنگترین دۆزینه‌وه‌ سه‌ره‌كییه‌كان بریتییه‌ له‌وه‌ی؛ کە تەنگژە و سەختیی ئابووری، بە شێوەیەکی ‏خۆکار و ڕاستەوخۆ هاوڵاتی بەرەو پاشه‌كشه‌ی بەشداریی سیاسی نابات؛ بەڵکو فشاره‌ ئابوورییەکان کاتێک ‏دەبنە هۆکاری دووركه‌وتنه‌وه‌ و بێئومێدیی سیاسی، کە هاوکات بن لەگەڵ لاوازبوون و له‌ده‌ستدانی متمانە به‌ ‏دامەزراوەکانی دەسەڵات.‏

The fifth episode of Frontline, titled “One Nation, One Army: Is the Era of the Quasi-State Over? From Rojava to Erbil: Who Survives?”, brings together Asst. Prof. Dr. Kardo Rached and Dr. Zakia Aqra, an expert in International Relations and Foreign Policy at Neapolis University Pafos, to discuss the future of quasi-state actors in the Middle East.

Dr. Aqra discussed fragmentation, weak states, and the conditions shaping the emergence and survival of non-state actors.

“When you have fragmentation, you have chaos. When you have chaos, you have weak states. When you have weak states, you have groups that will try to find their own way to survive.”

She emphasized that the conditions that enabled these actors to emerge have not disappeared:

“All the factors that made these actors possible to exist in the first place are still there. Structurally, they may face severe constraints today, but the conditions that produced them have not disappeared.”

She also highlighted how structural opportunities can enable existing actors to grow:

“These actors preexisted the structural opportunities, but they emerged and became strong when those opportunities appeared.”

At the Sbey Research International Round Table, titled “Self-Reliance, Security Sector Transformation, and the Future of Kurdish De Facto Governance under Syria’s Emerging Constitutional Order in the Post-Hegemony Middle East,” Professor Mustafa Kemal highlighted the transformative role of women’s participation in governance, institutions, and social change.

“The YPJ is, in other words, an organization, principle, and framework for identity and narrative about what women should do in the world. It’s a military in form, but it’s far more than military in function.”

He also emphasized women’s broader contributions beyond the battlefield:

“Women are not merely fighting in war, but building institutions, writing laws, leading municipalities, and educating men in feminism.”

“States that protect religious freedom, pluralism, and women’s equality tend to be more peaceful and more prosperous.”

She also emphasized the importance of linguistic rights and equality:

“Having the ability to speak one’s own language and to use it with full equal status in every area of life taken away is felt as a real form of discrimination.”
