Land Rehabilitation Initiative in Tleil – Akkar

The Lebanese Generation Association (LGA) continues its commitment to supporting farmers and strengthening food security in Akkar through the successful rehabilitation of more than 10 agricultural lands in Tleil.

This initiative focused on restoring degraded and unused lands and bringing them back into productive use through a comprehensive and professional approach, including:
✔️ Land clearing and removal of weeds and invasive plants
✔️ Soil preparation and treatment
✔️ Safe and controlled pesticide application
✔️ Installation of drip irrigation systems to improve water efficiency
✔️ Cultivation of crops based on farmers’ needs and local market demand
Through this work, LGA aims to empower local farmers, improve agricultural productivity, and increase income opportunities for vulnerable households.

This effort contributes to promoting sustainable agriculture, enhancing resilience, and supporting long-term environmental and economic stability in the region.

We remain committed to expanding our impact and supporting more communities across Akkar.

We are proud to announce the successful completion of the first phase of our project:
“Sustainable Agriculture Technician” Training Program implemented by the Lebanese Generation Association (LGA) in Akkar.

Over the past weeks, 20 youth (Lebanese and Syrian) successfully completed 150 hours of competency-based training focused on:
✔️ Crop management
✔️ Modern irrigation systems
✔️ Pest and disease control
✔️ Soil management
✔️ Basic agricultural business skills

The training combined theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical application to prepare youth for real labor market opportunities in the agricultural sector.

🚜 What’s Next?

We are now moving into the second phase of the project:
Cash for Work

During this stage, participants will be placed in partner farms across Akkar for practical workplace-based learning, where they will apply their newly acquired skills in real agricultural settings while receiving a daily stipend.

This initiative not only strengthens youth employability but also contributes to addressing labor shortages and supporting sustainable agriculture in our community.

We are proud of our youth and excited to see them take the next step toward employment and self-reliance.

تستعد جمعية Lebanese Generation Association (LGA) لإطلاق مشروع التدريب الزراعي بالشراكة مع منظمة Anera وبدعم من اليونيسف، ضمن جهودنا المستمرة لتعزيز مهارات أفراد المجتمع وتمكينهم في مجال الزراعة المستدامة.

في إطار التحضير لهذا المشروع، نفّذت الجمعية يوم أمس جلسة توجيهية (Orientation) لـ ستين مستفيداً من منطقة الدريب في عكار، حيث تمّ تعريف المشاركين بأهداف المشروع ومراحله وفوائد التدريب.

كما قامت فرقنا بإجراء مقابلات فردية (Interview One-to-One) مع المستفيدين، وذلك كخطوة أساسية لاختيار المشاركين وبدء تشكيل الصفوف التدريبية التي ستنطلق قريباً.

يمثّل هذا النشاط الخطوة الأولى من مشروع يسعى إلى تقديم تدريب نوعي، يدعم قدرات الأهالي ويساهم في تعزيز الإنتاج الزراعي المستدام في المنطقة.

مشروع توزيع الشتول خطوة نحو الزراعة المستدامة
تفتخر جمعية L.G.A بإطلاق وتنفيذ مشروع توزيع الشتول الذي امتد على أربع مراحل متتالية، وشمل عدد كبير من المستفيدين من أهالي بلدة التليل.
يهدف هذا المشروع إلى تشجيع الزراعة المحلية وتعزيز الوعي البيئي من خلال دعم الزراعة الصحية الخالية من المواد الكيماوية، والمساهمة في تحسين الأمن الغذائي للأسَر وتشجيع الاعتماد على الإنتاج المحلي.

🌱 نؤمن أن الزراعة ليست فقط مصدر رزق، بل ثقافة حياة تحافظ على البيئة وتغرس في الأجيال القادمة حب الأرض والاستدامة.

يسرنا الإعلان عن إطلاق برنامج تدريبي زراعي متكامل موجه لفئة الشباب من عمر 18 إلى 25 سنة، ويهدف إلى تأهيل المشاركين بأساسيات ومهارات الزراعة الحديثة والتقليدية، بالإضافة إلى التوجيه نحو فرص ريادة الأعمال الزراعية

يستمر البرنامج لمدة شهرين، ويتضمن محتوى تدريبي عملي ونظري متنوع يشمل

أساسيات الزراعة المستدامة والعضوية

تقنيات الزراعة الحديثة (الهيدروبونيك، الزراعة الذكية)

التسويق الزراعي وإدارة المشاريع الصغيرة
