☘ 🌍 World Environment Day 2025 – A Green Commitment by ART 🌍 🌴 🌲

On the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, ART (Action for Rural Technology), Yavatmal organized impactful programs at three rural locations—Sabla (Beed), Ambezari (Yavatmal), and Vadhona (Wardha)—with the goal of protecting nature, preserving natural resources, and promoting eco-conscious rural development.
🌱 1. Sabla Village, Beed District
In collaboration with Axis Bank Ltd., 2,000 quality indigenous trees—including Neem, Banyan, Custard Apple, Mahogany, and others—were planted with active involvement from the Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat members, and 25+ local volunteers.
🌿 2. Ambezari Village, Tal. Zari, Yavatmal
In association with Praj Foundation, a tree plantation drive was carried out around public spaces including roadsides, temples, and school grounds. Villagers were made aware of the importance of sustainable water resource work done under ART’s guidance. Community youth and the Sarpanch Shri Potuji Atram actively participated.
🏫 3. Model High School, Vadhona, Arvi cluster of Wardha district of Maharashtra
ART organized an environmental awareness session and plantation activity at the school. Mr. Ravindra Tandulkar and team introduced ART’s vision. Trees were planted by the school’s Headmaster, teachers, and students. As a gesture of encouragement, sports materials were donated to the students, which was joyfully received.
💚 Across all three locations, the events reflected ART’s unwavering commitment to nature conservation, grassroots engagement, and sustainable rural transformation.
