The Institute of Social Awareness and Reforms (ISAR) in collaboration with Shri Sant Janabai Shikshan Sanstha’s Arts, Science & Commerce College, Gangakhed, successfully organized an impactful awareness program under the Child Marriage–Free India Campaign. The program was chaired by Vice-Principal Dr. Santosh Gaikwad, who inspired students with his guidance, while PSI Ms. Gite Madam from Gangakhed Police Station attended as the Chief Guest and highlighted the legal consequences and social harms of child marriage. The presence of dignitaries such as Dr. Prakash Surve, Prof. Chaitanya Palavde, Prof. Bhagwat Gaikwad, Mr. Suresh Jogdand, Mr. Laxman Gaikwad, Ms. Suryamala Madam Motipavle, District Coordinator Mr. Moti Pawale, and the Field Officer, Gangakhed, added great value to the event. ISAR activists conducted an informative session focusing on the negative impact of child marriage, the importance of education, protection laws, and the role of youth in creating a responsible society. Students were encouraged to become “Change Ambassadors” and pledge their commitment to eliminate child marriage, expressing deep gratitude to all dignitaries, students, faculty, and the ISAR team. The event received overwhelming support from the college administration, professors, and a large number of enthusiastic students, making the program highly meaningful and impactful. Together, we aim to build a Child Marriage–Free India and inspire social change for a better tomorrow.
