Gram Swaraj Seva Trust Established in 1998, the GramSwaraj Seva Trust is a well-known voluntary organization rooted in the Gandhian philosophy of rural self-reliance.

The GramSwaraj Seva Trust, widely known as GramSwaraj Sanstha (ग्रामस्वराज संस्था) is a registered development organization located in the Wardha district of Maharashtra. Inspired by the Gandhian principles of Sarvodaya (Collective Holistic Development) and Gram Swaraj (Rural Self-Reliance), GSST has been engaged in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra for more than a decade. In its journey towards

value-based holistic development process, GSST has positioned itself with an interactive and participatory interface with the rural, semi-rural, semi-urban and emerging urban communities in the Vidarbha region. The mainstay of the development activities of GSST is the democratic principle of self-motivated participation in the development process that is egalitarian, equitable, and consultative in nature. With such a holistic paradigm, GSST has been marching ahead towards a more sustainable community development, particularly for the underprivileged and deprived sections of the society.
