When the summer sun rises harsh and strong, care becomes even more important.
With temperatures soaring between **42–45°C and still rising**, at the **Senior Day Care Center managed and organized by Bannu Arogyada Seva Society**, we are taking small yet meaningful steps to protect and support our elders during this intense heat.
To help them stay cool, nourished, and energized, we are providing **Raagi Java**—a healthy, cooling drink made from finger millet, rich in calcium, iron, and nutrients—and few a times **Majjiga (buttermilk)**, a refreshing traditional drink that helps keep the body hydrated and balanced in hot weather.
Beyond care for the body, this space continues to care for the heart. Our elders spend their time reading, playing indoor games, sitting together in small groups, and sharing their life experiences. In these gentle conversations, there is comfort, laughter, and a sense of belonging that makes every visit special.
Some come for a few minutes, others stay longer—but each one leaves feeling a little lighter, a little refreshed, and a lot more connected.
Because in this heat, more than anything, what truly matters is **care, companionship, and a place where one feels safe, valued, and at peace.**
