गुजरातमध्ये जन्मलेली आणि मुंबईत वाढलेली मानसी जोशी. शाळा कॉलेजमध्ये फुटबॉल आणि बॅडमिंटन खेळली होती. 2010 मध्ये इंजिनिअरिंग पूर्ण करून डिसेंम्बर 2011 पर्यंत सॉफ्टवेअर इंजिनिअर म्हणून नोकरी करत होती.

डिसेंम्बरमध्ये तिच्या गाडीला अपघात झाला आणि 45 दिवसांच्या हॉस्पिटलमधील मुक्कामानंतर मानसी कृत्रिम पाय घेऊन बाहेर आली.
ह्या धक्क्यानंतर पुढील काही काळ ती शारीरिक आणि मानसिक तंदुरुस्तीसाठी योग, ध्यान आणि बॅडमिंटन सराव करू लागली.

त्यावेळी तिचा खेळ फक्त तिच्या व्यायामासाठी होता, पण अन्य काही पॅरा बॅडमिंटन खेळाडूंच्या सांगण्यावरून ती खेळाकडे जास्त गांभीर्याने पाहू लागली.
2015 पासून तिचं खेळातील करिअर सुरू झालं.
2018 मध्ये तिने हैदराबाद येथील पुलेला गोपीचंद बॅडमिंटन अकॅडमीत प्रवेश घेतला आणि तेव्हापासून ती तिथेच सराव करत आहे.

2020 टोकियो पॅरालिम्पिकमध्ये SL3 कॅटेगरी समाविष्ट नसल्यामुळे ती नाराज झाली होती, ह्यावेळी मात्र पॅरिसमध्ये तिला तिचं स्वप्न पूर्ण करण्याची संधी मिळाली आहे. सध्या तिचं वर्ल्ड रँकिंग 1 आहे.

We're thrilled to announce that we successfully completed our Everest Base Camp trek ahead of schedule! But our journey doesn't end here. As part of an initiative by the Spandan Foundation for Girls Education and Empowerment, we're now headed to the city to explore ways to support girls' education and help empower them to reach their full potential. We're excited to be part of this important work and can't wait to see where this journey takes us next.

We delayed in updating about the trek due to network issues and the challenges of climbing on top of hills. Here are the updates on the past few days of the trek:

Day 8 - Gokyo: It was an incredible day of trekking with steep climbs and breathtaking views of the Dudh Koshi Valley, Ngozumpa Glacier, and the Himalayan range. We explored the beautiful settlement of Gokyo and climbed a ridge for even more stunning views.

Day 9 - Machhermo: Today was a great adventure as we woke up early to climb up to Gokyo Peak, the famous vantage point of the Khumbu region, and witnessed panoramic views of the Everest, Cho-Oyo, Lhotse, and Makalu. We then headed towards Machhermo and witnessed the breathtaking region along the way.

Day 10 - Phortse: We reached the beautiful village of Phortse (3840 meters) after a mostly downhill trek. We explored the region, visited ancient monasteries, and learned about the unique culture and traditions of the mountain people.

Day 11 - Dingboche: Today, we crossed the Imja Khola and witnessed stunning views of Ama Dablam while visiting monasteries and seeing what is believed to be the hand and scalp of a yeti. We then crossed glacial moraines to reach Dingboche, a beautiful village with spectacular views of Ama Dablam and Lhotse.

Day 12 - Lobuche: It was an adventurous day as we traversed across the Khumbu Glacier moraines and crossed the Khumbu Khola at Dughla, reaching the stone memorials commemorating climbers who died on surrounding summits, all while enjoying grand views of Pumori, Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Changtse.
