By serving his mission and following his teachings of pure bhakti-yoga, we can receive the divine love he embodied and experience our pure spiritual state. Bhaktabandhav is a name of Krsna signifying His natural bond of love and intimate friendship with all devotees. Seeing Srila Gurudeva's compassionate love and care for everyone, especially devotees, our Param Gurudeva gave him the title Bhaktabandhav. Bhaktabandhav is therefore Krsna, the Eternal Loving Reality that we are all part of, and our beloved guardian and best friend, Srila Gurudeva. We all identify with something greater than ourselves - families, society, nations, or the human race - with Bhaktabandhav, we do not identify with a small part, but with the Eternal Loving Reality.
