Last year on Varalakshmi Vratam, Mini and I visited Lahari’s home. She lovingly prepared a traditional Arya Vysya meal, and the three of us—Arya, Mini, and I—shared food, laughter, and a beautiful, warm afternoon in her presence. She was so happy that day.
Today, as I look at those photos and videos, it is still hard to accept that Lahari is no longer here. The festival has come again, but the one who made it so special is missing.
I couldn’t do the puja today. 🙏
How can the heart celebrate when it is still searching for someone who should be beside us?
Last year she welcomed us with love and prasadam. This year, I am left only with memories—her voice, her smile, and an emptiness that doesn’t fade.
Amma Lakshmi, you know the truth. You know Lahari’s heart and her pain. Please give her justice. If anything is hidden, bring it into the light. Do your miracle, Amma. 🪷🙏
Lahari, you are missed every single day.
Some memories are blessings, and some are wounds. Yours are both.
