Yesterday, because of the cyclone and rain, there were hardly any people around to bid farewell to Ganesha at Jodugullapalem.

But perhaps Ganesha was not alone.

His voiceless children were there.

Bell sat silently, watching Ganesha’s procession pass by, almost as if she was quietly saying goodbye. And Rajdhani ran behind the procession with the same spirit, as though she wanted to accompany Ganesha till the very end.

And as the procession moved silently through the sensitive Seetha Konda zone, the deer were seen gazing peacefully at it.

Maybe yesterday reminded us that devotion doesn’t need noise.

How many of you agree that, at the very least, the DJ should be switched off while the procession passes through the sensitive Seetha Konda zone?

Let our celebrations be joyful—but peaceful enough for the voiceless beings who share this beautiful place with us.

Yesterday, there may not have been many humans to say goodbye to Ganesha…
but His voiceless children were there.

RAIN OR SHINE, PLEASE FEED THE COMMUNITY DOGS. 🐾❤️

It’s raining continuously, but Tarun and I somehow managed to make sure our community dogs were fed.

Please, if there are community dogs in your street, don’t let them go hungry just because it’s raining. A little food from you can mean everything to them.

And please don’t chase them away. ❤️
If a community dog comes to your street or near your house to escape the rain, please allow them to rest safely in a dry corner.

They have nowhere else to go.
Your doorstep may be their only shelter. 🐾🌧️

Rain or shine, let’s not forget the voiceless.

A Golden Retriever has been abandoned near Sreekanth Theatre and is suffering from a skin condition. 😔

Can anyone please come forward to foster or adopt this poor dog and give him a safe place to recover? 🙏🐾

We have no clue if this beautiful Chippiparai was lost or abandoned. If this is your pet, please contact us immediately.

Pet parents, please be extra careful with rare and expensive breeds. If they end up in the wrong hands, their lives can become miserable and they may be exploited for breeding or other purposes.

URGENT: BOXER ABANDONED NEAR SUBMARINE, BEACH ROAD 🐾

Someone has heartlessly abandoned this Boxer, who is suffering from a severe skin disease, near Submarine on Beach Road.

I desperately want to help, but I’m already at full capacity and don’t have space to take another dog.

Can anyone foster or provide temporary shelter and medical care for him? Even a safe place could save his life.

And please—speak up when you see someone abandoning a pet.
Pets are not disposable when they become sick, old, or difficult to care for.

GVMC needs strict action against pet abandonment, including meaningful fines and restrictions on repeat offenders. At the same time, there must be stronger monitoring of illegal breeding and irresponsible pet sales, which contribute to animals being abandoned on our streets.

Buying a pet is a responsibility for life—not until it becomes inconvenient. 🐾

🦌🌿 Protect Seethakonda’s Wildlife

Last night, the area in the middle of Seethakonda Reserve Forest and near the zoo witnessed loud DJ music and fireworks during the Ganesh procession.

The noise can frighten and panic the innocent deer and other wildlife that live in this habitat. On top of that, litter, plastic waste and leftover food being left behind can create serious risks for wildlife.

We sincerely request the AP Forest Department and Visakhapatnam Police to find a suitable alternative route or arrangements so that Ganesh processions can take place peacefully without disturbing or endangering the wildlife.

🙏 Celebrations and compassion can go together.

These animals cannot speak for themselves. It is our responsibility to keep their habitat safe, peaceful and clean. 🦌🌳
