The Fourth CII Andhra Pradesh State Council Meeting was held on 6th October 2026 at Hotel Novotel, Visakhapatnam, bringing together the state leadership to review CII’s work over the past six months and set priorities for the months ahead.
The meeting reviewed membership growth and engagement, activities across the Zones, Panels, Indian Women Network (IWN) and Young Indians (Yi), upcoming programmes, Partnership Summit preparations, government engagement and opportunities linked to the Visakhapatnam Economic Region.
The IWN Andhra Pradesh update highlighted its flagship Leadership Conclave 2026, themed “Leading India@100 – Resilient Systems for the Future,” along with upcoming initiatives on Mental Health, Geriatric Care and Mentoring.
The Young Indians (Yi) Vizag update showcased the successful YIP Regional Round, with participation from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu, and the presence of Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu Garu and Shri Bharat Garu. Other highlights included the Thalir MoU covering 108 government schools and the Thrift Sale. Yi Amaravati highlighted its achievement of creating 10,000 seed balls, recognised by the Asia Book of Records under Record No. 113109, while Yi Tirupati conducted its very first YIP Chapter Round.
The meeting also featured a presentation by Mr H. Sai Sridhar, Principal Counsellor, CII Institute of Logistics, on the Logistics Competitiveness of Andhra Pradesh, followed by a presentation by Mr Sateesh Karumanchi, Founder, Actula (ESG), on CBAM and what it means for Andhra Pradesh exporters.
