Akshaya Patra has resumed its service to provide midday meals to children. Currently, the NGO is serving locally palatable meals in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Assam.

Dear rich people, if you can’t afford to pay for your staff’s meals, it’s better not to bring them along to restaurants just to have them stand aside while you enjoy your food. It’s truly heartbreaking to see helpers or domestic workers waiting silently, often not even offered a chair, let alone a meal. Everyone deserves basic respect and dignity, regardless of their job or background. If someone is working for you and accompanying you outside, the least they deserve is to be treated like a human being with kindness, consideration, and inclusion. This kind of behaviour reflects more on the employer than the employee. Let’s not forget that respect doesn’t cost anything.

అమ్మా, శాంతమ్మగారు మీకు ఇల్లు ఉందా? ఎందుకు నాయనా, పరలోకం లో నాకు ఒక అపార్ట్మెంట్ సిద్ధంగా ఉందిగా. మరి మంచి బట్టలున్నాయా? ఎందుకు? పరలోకం లో దేవదూతలు వేసుకునే బట్టలు ఇస్తాడుగా మా దేవుడు? మంచి భోజనం తింటున్నారా? అయ్యో, పరలోకం లో జీవాహారం, జీవ జలం వుంటుందిగా! పిచ్చి ముదిరిన వారి మాటలు ఇలాగే ఉంటాయి!
