Ganesh Chaturthi celebrates the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed Hindu god of wisdom and new beginnings.
The Birth of Ganesha
Goddess Parvati created Ganesha from paste or dirt from her body while preparing for a bath.
She breathed life into him and told him to guard the door and let no one enter.
Lord Shiva returned home, but Ganesha blocked him.
Shiva did not know the boy was his son and cut off his head during the fight.
The Elephant Head
Parvati grew very angry and heartbroken when she saw what happened.
Shiva promised to restore the boy to life.
He told his followers to bring the head of the first living creature they found.
They returned with the head of an infant elephant.
Shiva placed the elephant head on Ganesha's body and revived him.

Happy Ganesh chaturthi ❤️
I wish u all of your family members and my friends to be healthy and wealthy & prosperous life forever
