It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Sri Kondaveti Kodandaramaiah, the visionary founder of Kora Institute, who left for his heavenly abode at 12:40 PM on 17th May 2026. Born on 15th July 1939, Sri Kodandaramaiah garu was widely respected as an exceptional Physics teacher, mentor, and educationist whose dedication transformed the lives of thousands of students.
Fondly known as βKora,β he pioneered one of the earliest and most respected coaching institutions in Andhra Pradesh for students aspiring to pursue Engineering and Medical education through competitive entrance examinations. At a time when structured coaching for such examinations was still evolving in the state, Kora Institute became a guiding light for countless young aspirants and earned a reputation for academic rigor, discipline, and excellence.
Generations of students remember him not only for his brilliant command over Physics, but also for his inspiring teaching style, clarity of concepts, and unwavering commitment to student success. His contribution to the field of education will remain enduring and unforgettable.
