📢 PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATION | VIJAYAWADA

A peaceful demonstration was held today at Dharna Chowk, Vijayawada, in solidarity with the students protesting at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.
Before the demonstration began, the Union Education Minister resigned. We welcome this development, as it fulfills one of the key demands raised by students and civil society. However, our struggle does not end here.

We reiterate our remaining demands: • Scrap the National Testing Agency (NTA) • Bring comprehensive educational reforms • Conduct a clean, transparent, and impartial inquiry into the police action against students • Ensure accountability and justice for NEET aspirants and all affected students

The gathering was addressed by Aamir Fahed (State President, SIO Andhra Pradesh), Mohammad Ubed-ur-Rahaman (Director, NYKV & Secretary SIO AP), Pichuka Srinivas (President APCR Andhra Pradesh), Mushahid Baig (Secretary National Affairs, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind - Andhra Pradesh), Ansaruddin State Committee Member, IYM), Rajesh (Sate Leader, PDSU), Sai Kumar (State Leader AISF) and other student and youth organisations, who reaffirmed their solidarity with the students and called for a transparent, fair, and student-centric education system.

The movement continues until every student's demand for justice is fulfilled.

SIO Andhra Pradesh joined the joint protest organized by Naujawan Bharat Sabha (NBS) and DISHA Students' Organization, along with other student unions, in solidarity with the students protesting at Jantar Mantar.

We strongly condemn the brutal lathi charge and the use of tear gas against peacefully protesting students. The right to peaceful protest is a democratic right and must be protected.

We demand:
• Resignation of the Union Education Minister.
• A fair, impartial, and transparent inquiry into the incident.
• Accountability for the Delhi Police personnel responsible for the excessive use of force.
• Scrapping of the NTA in its present form and comprehensive education reforms to ensure a transparent and student-friendly examination system.

ఇమామ్ హుసైన్ (రజి) త్యాగం, విశ్వాస గుణ సంపన్నతకు ప్రతీక. ఇస్లామీయ ఖిలాఫత్ వ్యవస్థ కుటుంబ రాచరికంగా మారడంతో యజీద్ పాలనలో వైరుధ్యాలు తలెత్తాయి. ప్రజా వ్యతిరేక రాచరికాన్ని ఇమామ్ హుసైన్ (రజి) ఎంతమాత్రం సమర్థించలేదు. ఎలాంటి ప్రమాదాలు ఎదురైనా, ప్రాణాలకు తెగించైనా హక్కు, న్యాయం, ప్రజా సంక్షేమం కోసం పోరాడాలని ఆయన నిర్ణయించారు. కర్బలాలో సర్వస్వం ధారపోసి షహాదత్ పొందారు. ఇమామ్ హుసైన్ (రజి) జీవితం ఒక ముస్లిం తన కుటుంబంతో సహా ధర్మం కోసం ఎలా త్యాగం చేయాలో ఆచరణాత్మక ఆదర్శం. ఇది రాజకీయం కాదు, దైవప్రవక్త ముహమ్మద్ (సఅసం) వారి ముద్దుల మనవడు హజ్రత్ ఇమామ్ హుసైన్ (రజి) పవిత్ర ధర్మ కార్యం. ఆయన పోరాటం ప్రతి యుగానికీ స్ఫూర్తి.

Alhamdulillah, as part of the Andhra Pradesh Tour of Adv. Anees ur Rahman, General Secretary, SIO India, a Regional Members Meet was successfully held in Rajahmundry for the North Andhra Region.

The meeting brought together SIO members from across the region for reflection, learning, and organizational strengthening. Addressing the gathering, Adv. Anees ur Rahman emphasized the importance of ideological clarity, personal development, collective responsibility, and dedicated efforts in advancing the mission of SIO.

The session encouraged members to enhance their leadership skills, deepen their commitment to Islamic values, and actively contribute towards building a knowledgeable, just, and compassionate society.
