Students from SRM University, AP (MBA - First Year), currently interning with MAARPU TRUST, conducted a field visit to Self Help Groups (SHGs). They interacted with women engaged in small businesses such as tiffin centers, curry points, and other livelihood activities.
They conducted a financial literacy questionnaire to understand awareness levels around savings, banking, and government schemes. The findings highlighted that while SHGs play a strong role in basic financial inclusion, there is a gap in awareness regarding formal systems and government support schemes. This field engagement shows that there is a need for focused financial literacy interventions to empower women.

MAARPU Trust continues its commitment to the P4 (Public–Private–People Partnership) programme, a vision of Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu aimed at promoting inclusive growth and shared social responsibility.

Under this initiative, MAARPU Trust is supporting 7 P4 families in Vanapamula village, Krishna District, by providing monthly provisions and essential medicines to ensure their well-being.

During the month of March, the health condition of all the families was reviewed as part of our regular follow-up. It was heartening to hear from them that they are feeling healthier and well supported, which motivates us to continue our efforts with greater commitment.
