Today, Greater Verinag Civil Society South Kashmir visited the fire-affected families of Halsidar, Trajen extending support by distributing food kits,bedding, and stationery among school-going children.

While this assistance offers some relief, the need for proper rehabilitation remains significant. We have assured the affected families of our continued support as they strive to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope

Greater Verinag Civil Society South Kashmir proudly participated in a mega and impactful drug de-addiction drive under the banner of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, organized by the Sub Divisional Magistrate Doru. Our committed volunteers stood united with dedication and resolve, raising a strong voice against the menace of drug abuse.

This initiative reinforces our shared responsibility to protect our youth and build a healthier, drug-free society. We sincerely commend the efforts of SDM Doru for spearheading this noble cause. The patient, a hardworking painter, has spent all his savings and even sold his property for treatment. He is currently under treatment at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. He is also a father of minor children who are in urgent need of support during this difficult time. We humbly appeal to everyone to come forward and support him on humanitarian grounds.
