What a wonderful initiative by and Worldwide Veterinary Service - WVS for organising this . South Goa really needed this.

Miko is the most chilled out cat ever. Fostering him for a few days and can't wait for all the cuddles he is known to give the lovely team at Tailwaggerz Pet Clinic . He was thoroughly pampered and totally spoilt with kisses and cuddles during his time at the clinic. Thank you to wonderful humans at Tailwaggerz for giving him the best care with a high dose of love.

This morning, we had planned to get 2 females, and despite all the drama we faced due to a man interfering with us catching the dogs, we were able to get both.

While I was zeroing in on the female (light brown), who is the only adult unsterilised female on this beach, a man approached and started making conversation. I politely told him to let us finish what we were doing, and that I would answer his questions after. This did not go down well with him, and he chose to react with his bruised ego. Of course, this did not go down well with me...and I picked up the phone and took a video of him and told him off.

Even the most difficult animal to catch, does not cause the stress that a human can cause with their inflated egos! Sad truth.

I'm glad Laura and I kept my focus on the animal first; otherwise, she could have easily gotten away, which would have put us back by 2 weeks again.

"Goodmorning, Mom! I want you to meet my boyfriend. Ain't he cute? In the beginning, I didn't like him much cos he's a bit too young for my liking. But we grew on each other. And now, he has moved with me and we happily bully others together 😜. Seeeeeeee, you always felt bad that my friends left and I lived all alone. Now you don't need to feel bad anymore.

One request: Please can you get him done so he doesn't chase after other girls. Not that I'm insecure (he won't ever find a golden eyed beauty like me), but you know how it is, he may get lost if he goes too far. So please be doing your job AND SOON 😁."

Such survivors our indies are! She is one of the pups dumped in an area I look after, about 3 months ago, when she was just a month old.

2 females and 1 male caught for sterilisation this morn.

These 3 siblings were dumped here 6 months ago at the fragile age of 1.5 months. Up until 3 months ago, they did not allow me to touch them. Every attempt to befriend them was in vain. So I changed the plan. Started feeding them only inside the cage. After a couple of weeks, all I had to do was open the cage and all 3 would jump in straight away to devour their meal. So today was a breeze. I just repeated the drill and shut the cage door right after them. Wishing them a quick recovery and puppy free life.

Found this puppy en route at Maria Hall in Benaulim while on my feeding rounds. He has sustained severe trauma to the head, and one eye has popped out. He was exhausted and didn't resist much while being caught. Pray for the little baby.
