On this very day last year, Yami was born the daughter of our founders, Abhik & Riya.
She fought bravely for 23 days in the NICU before she left this world, but she continues to live on through Yami Health and Hope.

This initiative was created to carry forward her legacy to spread the smile that her parents couldn’t see on her face, to bring hope and care to many more children.

Today, on Yami’s birthday, we celebrated her by spending time with children talking about good touch and bad touch, playing games, and sharing countless moments of laughter and learning.

What made today even more special was how it came together. The entire plan was last-minute, but the purpose was powerful.

A heartfelt thank you to the team for stepping in with empathy, effort, and understanding. When many saw this as just another event, you understood why it mattered. You made it possible to turn a painful memory into a day of pure joy and purpose.

Because for us, Yami is not just remembered , she’s celebrated.
She lives on in every child’s smile, in every act of care and hope. 🌼

₹180 crore worth of “fake ORS” drinks.
That’s what stood between a public health ban and corporate comfort.

Because apparently, clearing unsold stock is more urgent than saving dehydrated children.

Let that sink in.
In a country where 61% of kids under 5 rely on ORS when they have diarrhoea,
we just allowed sugary “ORS-like” drinks to stay on shelves.

These drinks have 4 times more sugar and less salt than the real WHO-approved ORS.
Too much sugar can pull water out of the body instead of hydrating it.
It can make dehydration worse, not better.

FSSAI banned misuse of the word “ORS”.
Then ₹180 crore worth of stock showed up.
Suddenly, the ban was put on hold.

So ask yourself.
Are India’s children patients or profit experiments?

This is not outrageous for the sake of it.
It is about accountability.
When regulators hesitate, children pay the price.

Stop buying anything that just says “ORS”.
Look for “WHO-recommended formula” on the label.

A 14-year-old girl in Tripura refused to marry a 32-year-old man.
And her parents threw her out of the house for it.
No support. No protection. Just rage for not obeying.

Let that sink in.

This isn’t “rural India” problem.
This isn’t “rare” or “shocking.”
This is 2025. India. Now.

Every time we call child marriage a “tradition,”
Every time we stay quiet to “respect culture,”
We fail girls like her.
We fail the 16-year-old who ran away after getting beaten for saying no.
We fail the thousands who can’t run away at all.

🛑 Child marriage is NOT a custom.
It's a crime under the law.
It’s normalized abuse in the name of family honor.
It’s trauma that walks in silence wearing bangles

If there’s a family history of mental illness, newborns may carry the risk genetically.
Early awareness = early help. Don’t wait for symptoms to explode — know the signs.

Every 7th child in India is silently battling a mental health disorder , anxiety, depression, trauma and most will never get help. We dismiss it as “mood swings” or “bad behavior,” while kids are suffering in silence behind smiles. It’s time to break the stigma, speak up, and demand mental health support for our youngest generation. Let’s make child mental health a national conversation. 💔🧠
