We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. We are grateful that schools are re-opening and our student's education is getting back on track. Although schools are open, it is still optional for students to attend and many families are choosing to keep their children at home for fear of COVID-19.
I am happy to say that our students are learning through a combination of online classes, at-home tuition and private tuition facilities. We are all healthy and no one has contracted the virus.
We are so grateful for all the support we have received and that we are still able to provide our students with educational support.
Unfortunately, we do have some sad news to announce. Due to a number of reasons, we are no longer able to keep our Education centre open. We will continue to support all of our students, they will continue to go to school and receive after school tuition arranged by our organisation. We are just not able to sustain our centre and provide tuition within it.
We are extremely disappointed and saddened by this, however it is the only way we are able to maintain financial support for our students educational needs.
If you would like further information on this matter please contact me at [email protected] and I'll be happy to discuss this in more detail.
In the mean time, we still welcome donations and support from the public as we will remain a charity that provides educational opportunities to the underprivileged in Varanasi.
Thank you all so much for the years of support and encouragement and we plan to keep up the meaningful work with you!
