Our students from KIRAN Society took a deep dive into the world of "Science in Action" at PRAGYAN '26! 🧪✨ Spending the day at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), these young minds explored the cutting edge of tech and future-forward innovations.
From mind-blowing exhibits to hands-on learning, it was a day dedicated to discovery, big dreams, and the endless possibilities of science. Watching our students engage with the future of technology was truly the highlight of our week! 🚀💡

Connecting with the community for a healthier future! 🏥✨
On April 10, 2026, we held a dynamic AAA meeting at the Baraini Sub Centre (Majahawa Block). 16 frontline heroes—including ASHAs, Anganwadi Workers, and ANMs—joined forces to focus on the early identification and support of children in need. 👶📋 By mastering the five key criteria and sharing newborn data, this team is ensuring no child is left behind!
The momentum continued in Larvak village, where 23 pregnant women and adolescent girls gathered for a vibrant session on health, nutrition, and hygiene. 🥗💧 It was inspiring to see such active participation and a shared commitment to building stronger, healthier habits together.
Together, we are turning awareness into action! 💪🌟

A Day of Global Friendship at KIRAN Society! 🌍✨
We had the wonderful pleasure of welcoming 21 guests from the United States to our campus today! Organized in coordination with Mr. Jagdish Saxena, the visit was a beautiful celebration of community and shared vision.
Highlights of the Day:
🌱 Insightful Beginnings: The group joined an introductory session with Rajendra Sir, Sandeep, and Deepu to learn about our journey.
🎬 Stories of Impact: A screening of our documentary gave our guests a deeper look into the heart of our mission.

Computer Training Success (2025–26) 🎓
We are proud to announce that our trainees have received their course completion certificates, officially recognized by the Government of India under Jan Shikshan Sansthan.
With an impressive attendance rate above 90%, forty students from rural backgrounds gain essential digital skills annually. These graduates are now empowered to fill out government forms, pursue higher education, and access vital entitlements independently.

Empowering the frontline for a better future! 🌟
On March 24, we conducted an impactful AAA meeting at the Bachhawn Anganwadi Centre in the Kashi Vidyapeeth block. It was inspiring to see 15 dedicated ASHAs and Anganwadi workers come together to strengthen our mission of early identification and timely support. 🤝✨
Key highlights from the session:
🔹 In-depth discussion on the five criteria for early intervention.
🔹 Interactive Q&A to clear doubts and streamline our processes.
🔹 Strengthening our collaboration through monthly newborn lists to ensure no child is left behind.
By working together to identify needs early and recording timely videos, we are ensuring that every child gets the right intervention at the right time. 🎥👶

Today at Kiran Society, we celebrated World Down Syndrome Day with purpose and passion! Our D.Ed.SE(MD) students took the lead, reminding us that inclusion starts with understanding and ends with belonging.
✨ The Highlights:
📊 A deep dive into the facts vs. myths of Down syndrome, celebrating the legends who have made history.
🎭 A powerful drama titled "Anmol," showing that with parental love and trust, a child’s potential is limitless. Disability isn't a badge—it's just one part of a beautiful story.
Why March 21st? It represents the 3 copies of the 21st chromosome (3/21). Since 2012, the world has used this day to advocate for rights and inclusion. Let’s keep breaking the barriers of loneliness together!

Operations: Handle office logistics, travel arrangements, and database management.
What We’re Looking For:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (Social Work, BBA, Management, or Commerce preferred).
Experience: 1–3 years in an administrative role.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and strong bilingual communication (English & Hindi).
Requirement: Must own and be able to drive a two-wheeler for local assignments. 🛵

Darkness is nothing but the absence of light. The literal meaning of KIRAN is “A ray of light”. KIRAN is the hope of dawn in the depths of night. A hope which is also a dream; the dream of a society where persons with disabilities will have equal rights and opportunities, the dream that they will be accepted for what they are without discrimination. KIRAN is striving to make this dream come true by removing the many obstacles which block our way. In this struggle against darkness, the friends and supporters have always held up a lamp to help KIRAN find the way to overcome the obstacles. Since its foundation in 1994, KIRAN has brought light to thousands of lives. Over the course of 25 years, we have witnessed so much changes; the spark returning to so many dull, defeated eyes, as thousands of children and persons with disabilities have begun to live their dreams. In the last year (2018-19), we have continued to strive tirelessly to enable and empower communities from the most marginalised sections of society. We hope to share the joy of bringing smile on the faces.
