The Parliamentary Standing Committee visits IIT (BHU) Varanasi.

On July 1st, the delegation was warmly received at the Student Activity Center by Director Prof. Amit Patra, faculty, and officials. The visit began with a traditional welcome and was followed by a comprehensive presentation on the Institute’s transformative initiatives under the National Education Policy (NEP).

Prof. Amit Patra highlighted IIT (BHU)’s commitment to academic innovation, a robust research ecosystem, pioneering R&D, and strong placement outcomes. The committee also toured our cutting-edge Precision Engineering Hub, gaining firsthand insight into our technical excellence and innovation capabilities.

The visit concluded with a token of appreciation presented to the committee members, marking a meaningful exchange of ideas and vision.

Graced by our deans, registrar, and faculty, the event reflects our dedication to scaling new heights in academic and research excellence.
