YVM organization was formed by concerned nonpolitical youths of Jaunpur and Varanasi of U.P. in year 2009. Main objective of the organization is to promote youth participation in development and governance process for realizing rights and entitlement by ensuring transferency and Government accountability. In addition, YVM emphasize more on generating awareness on good governance, welfare program
mes and legal entitlement among youths, women and vulnerable communities. While, recognizing the vulnerable situation of excluded communities and women YVM organization decided to work with the most excluded groups like manual scavengers and marginalized farmers through capacity building, formation of peoples groups and strengthening government institutions. We strongly believe that youth has potential to play a pivotal in developing harmony, peaceful society and nation building. At the same time their contribution in economic growth and development of the country is very crucial as they do things differently, innovatively and consistently. However, due to lack of information and guidance; wastages interest of politician and expensive education policies are hurdle in their overall development and growth which by default adversely affect society and nation. Objectives:
• Women empowerment through financial inclusion, literacy and livelihood promotion programmes
• Promoting youth leadership and enhance their participation in governance especially creating awareness among adolescent
• Holistic empowerment of vulnerable groups through mobilization, formation of groups and collectives for addressing issues of discrimination and violence
