A significant meeting was held yesterday on 04.04.2026 at VKM, Kamachha, regarding student internship opportunities under the National Education Policy 2020. The discussion witnessed the presence of the Principal, Training & Placement Coordinator, faculty members, and representatives from various NGOs in Varanasi. The meeting focused on strengthening society-academic–industry linkages and enhancing practical exposure for students through structured internship programs.

आज वेस इंडिया कार्यालय में वसंत कन्या महाविद्यालय की प्रोफेसर डॉ. अंशु शुक्ला जी का आगमन हुआ। इस अवसर पर महाविद्यालय की छात्राओं के समग्र विकास को ध्यान में रखते हुए विस्तृत चर्चा की गई।
बैठक में विशेष रूप से National Education Policy (NEP) के अनुरूप छात्राओं के लिए नई शैक्षणिक और कौशल आधारित पहल पर विचार-विमर्श हुआ। इसके साथ ही छात्राओं को इंटर्नशिप अवसरों से जोड़ने, उन्हें व्यावहारिक अनुभव प्रदान करने तथा करियर उन्मुख बनाने की दिशा में ठोस योजना तैयार की गई।
यह पहल न केवल छात्राओं को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने में सहायक होगी, बल्कि उन्हें भविष्य की चुनौतियों के लिए भी तैयार करेगी।

VKM Kamachha Students Visited VESS India | Youth Workshop Provides Valuable Guidance

Around 25 students from VKM Kamachha visited VESS India for an educational NGO tour and gained insights into its functioning. The group was led by Dr. Priyanka and Prof. Kalpana Anand, with participants from Home Science and Sociology departments of VKM.
A Youth Workshop was organised where students were guided on career, life skills, women safety, and social responsibilities. Experts discussed key issues like child labour, child trafficking, POCSO, POSH Act, employment & entrepreneurship, career readiness, and environmental sustainability including solid waste management. Students also actively interacted and clarified their queries.
Key speakers included Dr. Sunita Singhal Jalan (CEO, Crackkar Technologies & Former Management Professor KCC Institute Greater Noida), CA Jamuna Shukla (Environmentalist & Sr. Social Activist), Ms. Sonal Verma (HR, Talent Acquisition Lead, Bengaluru), and Mr. Santosh Pandey ( Director - ASTHA, Community Leader & Senior Social Activist).
Dr. Rajesh Kumar Srivastava, Director of VESS India, shared insights on NGO functioning and women empowerment laws along with important helplines.
Principal VKM Prof. Rachna Srivastava highlighted the importance of such exposure for holistic development. HOD Home Science Prof. Sangeeta Devadia motivated students towards social service, while Prof. Anshu Shukla coordinated the program.

आज विश्व गौरैया दिवस के अवसर पर आप सभी से एक संवेदनशील अपील है🙏🏻 तेजी से बदलते पर्यावरण और शहरीकरण के कारण हमारी प्यारी गौरैया की संख्या लगातार घट रही है, जबकि यह नन्हा पक्षी प्रकृति के संतुलन और जैव विविधता को सशक्त बनाए रखने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाता है।
आने वाली गर्मी को ध्यान में रखते हुए कृपया अपने घरों, छतों या आस-पास के स्थानों पर गौरैया के लिए दाना और स्वच्छ पानी अवश्य रखें। यह छोटा-सा प्रयास उनके जीवन को बचाने और उन्हें वापस हमारे आंगन में चहचहाने का अवसर देने में बहुत मददगार साबित हो सकता है।
आइए, मिलकर इस नन्ही चिड़िया के संरक्षण का संकल्प लें और प्रकृति के साथ अपने रिश्ते को और मजबूत बनाएं। 🐦💧🙏🏻

: During the -19 pandemic, our organization extended relief support to approximately 10,000 individuals from marginalized and vulnerable communities. The majority of the beneficiaries belonged to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and the Banjara community, who were among the most severely affected during the crisis.
At the peak of the pandemic, when strict , restrictions, and movement bans had brought normal life and economic activities to a complete halt, these communities faced significant challenges in accessing basic necessities such as food and essential supplies. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, our organization took proactive steps to reach out to these affected families and provided essential relief materials and humanitarian assistance to help them navigate this extremely difficult period.
