On January 30th 2026, the Lady Willingdon School campus in Chennai transformed into a living laboratory for the 6th Annual Eco Fest!

Organized by Pitchandikulam Forest and supported by TATA Communications Limited, this wasn't just a science fair—it was a showcase of what happens when we empower youth as "Eco Ambassadors."

The Impact at a Glance:

Participation: 500 students from 15 government and corporation schools,Chennai.

Innovation: 200 research-based models covering biodiversity, water management, and renewable energy.

Collaboration: Over 1,000 visitors, including NGOs, activists, and educators.

From plastic waste audits to bioplastics made from jackfruit waste, these students proved that they aren't just learning about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—they are designing the "Blue-Green" future of Chennai.

Thanks to Mr. Harish (TATA Communications), the Lady Willingdon government school, and the Pitchandikulam Forest team for fostering a space where science meets local action.
