It is with the heaviest of hearts that the Assam Association, Baroda mourns the untimely demise of Zubeen Garg — a musical icon, a cultural revolutionary, and a voice that resonated with the soul of Assam and beyond.
Zubeen da was not just a singer. He was the heartbeat of a generation, the voice of our deepest emotions, and the fierce protector of Assamese identity. Through his music, he gave us strength. Through his words, he inspired movements. And through his spirit, he united hearts across boundaries.
His melodies were more than art — they were memories, they were moments, they were magic. Whether it was joy or sorrow, celebration or protest, Zubeen da was there — echoing in the background, guiding us with his inimitable voice.
