🌱💙 Uniting for a Plastic-Free Mission! 💙🌱

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) - Vadodara, the renowned market leader in the IT industry, joined hands with the environmentally-driven Lions Club of Baroda Net Zero to achieve something extraordinary. Together, they organized a fantastic program centered around the concept of "No Plastic" at C. K. Prajapati School in Gorwa, Vadodara.

Over 170 enthusiastic students actively participated, joining forces to create 600+ paper bags from recycled newspapers, without a single drop of glue, cello tape, or staple pin. These eco-friendly bags were then distributed to nearby shops and vegetable vendors, aiming to eliminate the use of single-use plastic bags.

During the program, students were sensitized to the harmful consequences of single-use plastic, recognizing their vital role as the future generation. The esteemed Vadodara Municipal Corporation's councilor, Ms. Sangeetaben Choksi, graced the occasion as the esteemed Chief Guest.

Distinguished attendees included Lions Club of Baroda Net Zero President Lion Ashu Manchanda, Secretary Lion Salma Raj Khan, Region Coordinator Lion Pareshbhai Padharia, Zone Coordinator Lion Chetanbhai, along with Lions Dinesh Pawar and Rohan Makwana. TCS was represented by Admin Head Mr. Pankajbhai, HSC Head Mr. Darshanbhai, Head of HR, Associate Priya, and their committed team.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Principal Ms. Naynaben and the School Management for their incredible support. This program was skillfully coordinated by the passionate Net Zero member and TCS associate, Mr. Bhavya Shah.
