Does your child say "NO" to everything? π€
Not every "No" is defiance.
Sometimes, children say "No" because they want a sense of control, struggle to communicate their needs, or simply want to make their own choices.
Instead of saying, "Do this," try offering simple choices: β¨ "Would you like the red T-shirt or the blue one?" β¨ "Do you want to use crayons or colored pencils?"
Giving children choices reduces power struggles, builds confidence, improves communication, and encourages independence.
