At Aatapi Seva Foundation, we believe in staying ahead of the weather to secure farmers' futures. This year, we are thrilled to scale our Pre-Monsoon Dry Sowing (PMDS) Campaign across the 84 villages Jambusar Taluka in Bharuch!

By integrating the principles of Natural Farming into our PMDS strategy, we are ensuring that the fields of Jambusar are not just productive, but regenerative.

The Science Behind the Success 🧪

We are training farmers in natural techniques to head start:
•⁠ ⁠Seed Pelletization: Coating seeds with a mixture of Ghanajeevamrut, field soil, and ash to protect against pests and retain moisture.
•⁠ ⁠Navadhanya Diversity: Sowing a diverse mix of pulses, cereals, and oilseeds to ensure the "Living Root" principle keeping the soil covered 365 days a year.

Why This Matters for Farmers of Jambusar 🌍
In Jambusar, soil salinity acts as a silent thief, stealing the land's fertility and leaving our farmers with hardened earth and struggling crops. Our on-ground demonstrations show PMDS is our frontline defense this holistic approach delivers:
•⁠ ⁠Rebuilt Soil Health: Rapidly increasing Soil Organic Carbon and earthworm counts.
•⁠ ⁠Bio-Drilling: Deep root pe*******on that improves soil structure and water infiltration.
•⁠ ⁠Biomass Boost: Generating up to 7+ tons of green biomass per acre to feed the soil food web.
•⁠ ⁠Climate Shield: Protecting topsoil from erosion during heavy monsoon downpours.
Our team is dedicated to providing the technical guidance and hand holding support to empower every farmer. Together, we are cultivating a toxin-free, food-secure, and climate-resilient Jambusar.

What makes this journey meaningful is not just the systems created, but the people driving the change every single day — Green Sathis managing waste with dignity, villagers adopting cleaner habits, and communities coming together to protect their environment for future generations.

From reducing open dumping practices to encouraging waste segregation and recycling, the initiative is helping villages move towards a more responsible and sustainable way of living. 🌍

Empowering Early Childhood Education through Sustainable Infrastructure !!

A new Solar Powered Smart Anganwadi has been constructed in Village Dabhasa, Padra Taluka under the CSR initiative of Fives Combustion Systems Pvt Ltd

The Smart Anganwadi has been thoughtfully designed to create a joyful, safe, and technology-enabled learning environment for rural children with facilities including:
✨ Smart LED TV for audio-visual learning
✨ Learning toys to improve motor and cognitive skills
✨ Regional educational murals for foundational skill enhancement
✨ Solar-powered infrastructure to optimize electricity consumption
✨ Dedicated children’s play area for holistic development

From Waste Land to Green Community Landmark 🌱

A neglected 10,000+ Sqft land in Village Dabhasa, which was earlier used as a drainage water outlet and household waste dumping site, has now been transformed into “Panchvati – A Community Based Eco Park” under the CSR initiative of Fives Combustion Systems Pvt. Ltd. in partnership with Aatapi Seva Foundation – Vadodara.

With the plantation of 1000+ native plants, the initiative contributes towards carbon reduction, improved oxygen support, biodiversity restoration, natural cooling, and reduction in local environmental pollution — creating a positive climate and environmental impact for the village ecosystem.

The developed eco park now serves as a clean, green, and inclusive community space for children, youth, women, and elderly citizens, promoting sustainable rural development and community well-being.

The developed facility was formally handed over to Dabhasa Gram Panchayat in the esteemed presence of Mr. Chaitnya Sinh Zala – MLA, Padra Taluka, Heads of Fives Group, and respected Taluka & District representatives.

Project Saksham stands as a powerful testament to how meaningful CSR interventions can transform lives . With the committed support of Tega Industries, 72 women from three villages in the hashtag region of hashtag embarked on a journey of hope, dignity, and self-reliance.

What began as an opportunity to learn evolved into a life-changing experience—through 4 months of structured training in professional beauty skills and an additional month of intensive, hands-on learning in natural wellness product making. These women, many of whom had limited exposure to formal employment opportunities, discovered not just new skills but a renewed sense of confidence and identity.

The moment they received their NSDC certification marked more than course completion—it symbolized recognition, achievement, and a gateway to economic independence.

Today, these women are no longer just beneficiaries; they are emerging entrepreneurs, contributors to their families, and role models within their communities.

Project Saksham has ignited aspirations, strengthened voices, and created a ripple effect of empowerment—proving that when women are equipped with the right skills and support, they don’t just uplift themselves, they uplift entire communities.

How often do we pause to celebrate the people who are creating that change?

We organised a special evening in Jambusar under the Asmita Project supported by PI Foundation.

✨ “Udaan Award Night – 2026 | Ek Shaam Baheno Ke Naam”

An evening where the focus was simple:
Celebrate the journeys, achievements, and leadership of rural women.

More than 700 women gathered together — farmers, SHG leaders, entrepreneurs, Bank Sakhis, Pashu Sakhis, and grassroots champions.

The evening was filled with stories, recognition, music, laughter, and pride as women who are quietly transforming their communities came forward to be recognised.

Because sometimes the most meaningful way to strengthen communities is not through trainings and discussions, but by saying:

“Your journey matters. Your work deserves to be celebrated.”

And that is exactly what Udaan Award Night aimed to do.

Bapu na Sambharana (Remembering Bapu)!!

The second edition of , commemorating 96 years of 's visit to village during the (in)famous in 1930 was held with all heart and passion on 21st March 2026.

Held under the shade of sprawling 's (banyan tree) where Gandhiji addressed villagers in 1930, the program was full of remembrance of Gandhiji's vision for rural development and youth, kabir's verses, inauguration of children's resource center, and lokarpan of benches made from plastic collected from village itself.

This forms the very foundation of our flagship which moved leaps and bound last year, taking together , their , the and together, (re)imagining prosperity and in its own heritage, capacities and progress.

We linked the and and for children program of Gajera village that elicited immense response from villagers and their , with its (dignity, grace) and (frescos, Gandhi's Vadlo, Daandi Path, heritage houses, heritage walks).

Immensely hopeful to continue and reach the goal, having elicited continued support from villagers, PRIs, their diaspora making it lucrative to likeminded and passionate . Just how and should be!!

Empowering CSR Through Employee Volunteering

Under Project - Accelerating Circular Economy (ACE), with the support of our CSR Partner Technip Energies India Limited, an impactful Employee Engagement Activity was organized at Government Primary School, Akhod (Taluka Vagra, Bharuch) on 11th March 2026.

As part of the initiative:

🎒 School Bags were distributed to students to support their educational journey.
💡 LED Bulbs were distributed to promote energy-efficient and environmentally responsible practices at household level.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from employees of Technip Energies Plant – , who actively engaged with students and community members as part of the volunteering initiative.

Discussion of Technip volunteers were held with students on their future plans, their role and views on Waste Management Program in their village for which village has received many accolades. In all, there was a feeling that children were motivated to see social activities around them and role of companies in overall development of the communities.

Together, this initiative strengthened our and children's commitment towards Education support & Environmental Sustainability .

Immense gratitude to Development Sector giving recognition to our hard work and hustle, not just be reading our reports but by being co-travellers, observing and standing in solidarity with us and the communities we serve.

Thankful to the Faculty of Social Work, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda for awarding us with hashtag Excellence Award at the 28th HR Convention held in Vadodara on 21st February. The award means a lot to our team, who toil silently and stand firmly with the communities and community based organisations, designing need based interventions along with like minded partners in CSR and beyond!

A big thank you to all our supporters, partners and stakeholders for continuing to have immense faith in us and what we stand for.
